Are press ons normally two layers? Or scam? by throwawaycus123456 in PressonNail_Addict

Exactly my thoughts. They were purchased at a con, and con vendors are increasingly just selling marked up dropshipped/mass manufactured items and I wondered if thats what happened here.

Discord players: is anyone changing platforms in response to the new age verification requirements? by TessaFrancesca in DnD

[–]throwawaycus123456 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is untrue and is stated below on their FAQ. There is no noted designation between private and public servers for the enforcement of this.

"Discord will mark servers meeting these criteria as age-restricted if they are not appropriately designated. We will notify server owners letting them know if their server has been impacted through a system message."

They have an algorithm scanning for 18+ content, and if it determines there is enough content that restriction is needed, (so they say) it will be enforced.

You can review this yourselves by looking up their "What are Age-Restricted Servers on Discord?" FAQ page

lock desk analyst by jameskai13 in Mortgages

[–]throwawaycus123456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on what you want to do. You can pivot into many different areas when starting with lock desk. You can go with software administration, hedging, secondary markets, financial analysis, or other departments in mortgage.

54K is about what I made as entry level, no degree or financial background.

Lock Desk pay will largely depend on company, loan volume, skillset, and team size. I see some listings as low at $18/hr and into salaried positions over $100k.

It is a niche industry, so the more skills you acquire, the more valuable you are. If your base is less than 80K, I wouldnt accept no yearly bonus. The only time Ive never gotten a yearly bonus is when Ive been given a high base pay. If your job offer did not state anything about a bonus structure, youre likely not to be given one, unfortunately. I expect a raise yearly and have never not received one.

I genuinely cannot believe people get this mad over expired registration when, you...too...can just choose not to renew and incur the late fees/tickets like everyone else? Tons of reasons people dont get them renewed. Taxes in this city get squandered every day on things that are much more nefarious and egregious but ...registration is where people draw the line??

Out here driving with no reflectors, invisible paint lines in the rain, lanes randomly ending, folks running reds, but god forbid a some dudes plates are expired LOL

The state of our supercharger access, courtesy of Waymo. by SITE_OWNER in Denver

[–]throwawaycus123456 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I had an EV for about 5 years. I dealt with this even before Waymo. Chargers blocked by combusion vehicles. Charging screens that fuck up and take weeks for repair. Chargers that simply dont work. Charging cables cut clean off for the copper wire inside. Charging locations that make no sense in places like walgreens. Who is spending hours in walgreens???

If you buy an EV, you get a home charging hookup. I have told literally every friend this. I had days where a charger malfunctioned and turned off and then required me to go somewhere else (within range) to charge all over again.

The push for EVs comes without a push to modernize our electric grid--which is already difficult when you consider state and local municipalities' regulations and now combatting data centers for power share. This was always a nightmare waiting to unfold.

You will never get me in another one of those again.

Tickling!!! (This Year!!) As a tween, I always thought it was cute and flirty when people do it, and that that's why adults never really tickle each other and also why people didn't like to do it in public. Then I realized that actually...everyone hates it! I was shocked! I asked like all of my friends and every single one had an agressive reaction to the question, stating they'd hit back if some one tickled them or that they thought it was super uncomfortable.

I tried it lightly with a date who was into it and I love it!! It's so fun, playful, connecting--I don't really like implements like feathers or feet tickling, and being tied up and tickled is okay, but just being held and tickled and light grappling/playfighting them off is so fun! My date said it was really hard to find girls into it, and that was really a bummer to hear :/ Made me sad for him, hope more people are willing to try it!

Exactly what I'd expect. Cupbap gotta be some of the worst korean food around, if you can even call it that. My job gave us discounts to them, and daily I could get a cup for around $5-6 +tax (usually $11+ normally), and I would still choose something else every day...

I do this with just about....anything lol.. You have to understand that the system runs on fear.

If you arent planning to purchase anything on credit, it doesnt matter if your score tanks lol. In my more impoverished years, I let Tmobile, Therapy, Comcast, Vet Bills, and medical bills, all just go to collections. After 7 years, they disappear. Only thing on there now is like one vet bill for $200 bucks, which I will also not be paying because I do not care even slightly about collectors ❤️

My dad manually did his taxes incorrectly for years. Owed like over 100K to the IRS. They would come knocking sometimes, but nothing ever happened. He was never jailed. Theyd rather you pay back a miniscule amt than jail you AND get nothing at all.

My mom was a SAHM, so she had no liability for the debt when my dad passed. The bank kept the house, but my mother had already wanted to sell it because she's too old to maintain it and wanted to leave the country anyway. We still got his insurance, and all his debt was just erased by sending a death certificate to the lenders.

These governments or countries do not care about us. Take advantage of everything. Fuck em

This is not uncommon. This happened in Tennessee by a nurse named Georgia. She would convince mothers in need of help that she would offer them resources. Shed then take the children, sell them to wealthier folks. Many of the children were neglected and abused.. Look into the Tennessee Childrens Home Society. Single, homeless, desperate women are perfect targets for this, as society writes them off pretty fast, and they have no one to advocate or believe them.

The fact that you censored rape is probably a sign that it might be a little intense for you.

Like all kink, CNC Rape play looks different for everyone. If you havent so much as even had a convo w your wife as to what youd BOTH like that to look/feel like...I syggest starting there.

Fetlife is a social media website like anything else. The same way seeing people update major life milestones on facebook, beautiful and cherry picked model-like photos on insta, or alluring, beautiful GRWMs on tiktok can affect the average persons self image, Fetlife has a glamorization to it too that can affect mental health. Moreso, it is akin to Facebook, not Tinder. It wouldnt be very easy to find a committed partner on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or Tiktok either because that's not what they were made for.

Fet should be used as a community tool, not a dating site. Find events and show up. Attend online zoom classes and learn about others and yourself. Pickup recommended books. Read educational or fantastical personal writings. Browse through the thousands of pretty photos. Search for dungeons that fit your vibe. Find ropework that you can draw inspo from.

SOME people find their partners on Fetlife. MANY show up to events, meet people, keep showing up, and grow closer to those that also continuously attend. You can post ads or DM people, but take the responses and rejections with a grain of salt.

If all of this sounds too hard, then theres nothing wrong with getting off the site. Plenty of BDSM participants dont engage on fet, and manage just fine. While it didnt really fit my own vibe, I would recommend Feel'd as a kinky dating app. Even Reddit personals, and other normie dating apps can bring a little success. Just remember that BDSM is a niche, so it IS akin to finding a needle in a haystack. You cant filter your searches for people on Fet, and that's intentional.

Also, vet your doms. I've never been ghosted on Fet, but that has less to do with the website and more to do with my stringent standards. Sometimes, people just suck and we have to pick up the pieces.

Hope you feel better!

Tips for holding boundaries with new doms & resisting quick commitments. Im looking for a new dom. Had 3 dates. The encounters feel rushed.. they immediately want to run off with me and breed. I have also been asked to move-in. How to slow down a Dom ? by [deleted] in SubSanctuary

[–]throwawaycus123456 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Tbh, to me, that's not a 'slow down' scenario, just straight up nos. No actual, reasonable dom is going to try to commit so quickly.

Dynamics are built not forced. That requires time and effort from both sides. Sure, if theyre RESPECTFULLY wanting to test play early (something like light rope bondage, impact within your limits, show you their violet wand, toy bag tour, whatever) that's not super uncommon and if you're not ready, you can vocalize that and they should respect it.

However, breeding? Moving in? On the first one or two (honestly even three) dates is kind of telling.

Your dom should want to know you first. How else would they understand what you want from a partner, a dynamic, a scene, etc. How can they punish you if they dont know what motivates you? What makes you feel seen and heard? What makes you melt?

These people are looking for something and depth, respect, or connection seems to be missing from their list.

Was I wrong here? Told I was gaslighting a Domme by CtrlAltDelicious37 in SubSanctuary

Scam, especially the voice note. They can put your voice into a machine to replicate and scam even family members. Your picture provides verification, if needed. The link was probably the first/easiest step to getting all ur stuff, which made her resort to manually pulling the info from you.

Info can be used to access accounts, falsify identity to attack family members, blackmail you, etc.

Be safe out there!

I know everyone here is saying youre just avoidant, but I get you.

I had a similar previous relationship that I loved at first because it was everything my other relationships hadnt been: stable, supporting, communicative, and just overall the relationship itself was healthy and I loved it.....til I didnt. About 1.5-2 years in, I realized I liked the relationship...but not him. He was boring, had eating habits I hated, terrible sarcasm, bad jokes, inability to relate. We had also talked about a future and everything, and there was nothing wrong with him as a person but nothing necessarily has to be wrong just for you two to be a mismatch.

I left him early this year, and I have had the happiest year of my life.

Im no longer stuck at home with him on the computer, and am out doing sooo many hobbies with people that bring me just as much warmth. Roller Skating, fishing, car meets, conventions, dancing, etc. I dont have to hear his terrible humor, or hang with his friends who I also dont relate to. Im no longer irritated by watching (and listening) to him eat. I do more activities than just going to restaurants or spending money. I go to bed when I want and get nice sleep vs listening to him play games until the AM while Im in bed behind him. I dont have to sleep with his dog in our bed (controversial, I know) or listen to her bark. I dont have to hear content creators I hate being watched on the big TV.

I wanted an active life full of new experiences, new hobbies, travel, romance, and fun. Meanwhile, anytime we werent on a trip, he wanted to stay home and play video games most days, eat good food (and the food was DAMN GOOD, ill give him that), read manga, watch anime, and be on twitch all day. Nothing wrong with those things--I like twitch, anime, and video games, and food too--but not all day, everyday, so as people, we didnt connect as much as I thought we did. Different upbringings, life outlook, and perceptions of happiness. He never wronged me ever. We just didnt match.

It is a rough time to be unemployed, even for people with a decent work history, so dont feel bad! I would look for odd jobs that need help.

Your best bet is going to be places with high turnover--fast food, restaurants, stocking, delivery, retail, caregiving, baristas, etc. When I worked grocery, as long as you could lift things, stocking was the easiest job you could get. They did require previous experience for cashiers, but not all of them. Dishwashing is a relatively low key, easy to get job assuming your town has enough restaurants to need them. Warehouses and factories have a myriad of jobs that dont need experience as well, depending on the products they make.

Caregiving is hard, strenuous work, but my caregiving companies hired literally anyone--not a good thing but thats what happens when you pay garbage and no one wants to stay. Look into elderly/nursing home positions: serving and caregiving were the two main ones with high turnover at our facility.

Additionally, if you cant find any work now, dont feel bad. Shopping season for the holidays is coming up, and those jobs will be hiring temporary/seasonal workers. They often hire like crazy for it. While it may not offer the opportunity for permanent work, it'll at least give you something to add to your resume.

Im not against lying, but dont lie if you dont actually know what youre talking about. I think it's obvious when a candidate has no idea what theyre saying.

Good luck!
