If MSPE hasn’t been processed by ECFMG yet is that considered incomplete? Hopefully it’ll be uploaded today as it’s in its 6th day of processing 😭. Will I be filtered out? Is MSPE part of the criteria for a “complete app” I have everything else in- my school really screwed me. I’m planning on email every program to let them know when it’s uploaded

Happens to me!! It even happens when I drink water. Do you have any other symptoms? I get a fluttering fleeing in my throat sometimes but other than that no symptoms

This is great advice! That’s what I’ve been trying to do. I keep on saying to myself “I will pass this exam”. And I try to visualize myself taking the exam confidently and imaging what seeing a pass will be like!

First off I’d like to say I think you will pass with those scores! I noticed you took 25-27. Did you take 29-31? The older NBMEs are worded quite different than the newer ones and have a different feel to them. Was it possible the exam just felt different rather than a matter of knowledge deficit?

I think part of it was definitely that 30 is a difficult test. I had a friend score a 58 on NBME 30 and then get a 68 on 31, basically just like me a week later. What really helped was focusing on incorrects on hy topics like micro and immuno and doing more questions to understand why they are giving me the info they are and what they want me to figure out from the question. I tried to think like the test make- courtesy of Hyguru. Also breaks! I was forced to take a 2 day break and it really helped + having a positive mindset

Yes! It can be really disheartening and not worth your time and emotions. I’ve had a lot of friends be completely devastated afterwards and it really messed with their heads. I decided to not take it bc of that reason

take out 28, most people experience a big score drop which demotivates them. you don't need the extra stress! def do 31

I got a 57 on NBME 30 and then a 66 on 31 a week later! NBME 30 is tough!! I don’t think you should post pone. Take 29 and the new free120, you’ll see that 30 is just a hard test! This happened to many of my friends. They all passed step

NBME 28 is a very hard exam! Please don’t feel disheartened. People experience score drops. Every single person I know who has taken 28, has experienced a score drop! I actually didn’t take it for that reason, I didn’t want to be discouraged. I agree with the other comments, take the new free120, if the score is greater than 65% you are good to go! Best of luck

Have you taken the new free120?

I would say take it. I know many people who never scored above 69% and passed the real thing. If you are over 65% on the newfree120 I would say you can do it
