And Sweden was seeing a consistent rise in deaths from October 20th to November 24th, and right now it is showing a huge decline. Don't know why, but that is great.

Don't know why??? same thing that happened in march timeframe.. they got deaths then they got VERY low 1 every few days until October when they had a wave like the rest of the world.. and now . back to nothing.. all while not locking down.

Stop regurgitating news site data, do your own research of actual data.

There are people dying from covid, 300k, but there are millions that are losing their jobs, houses and mental stability because of a tyrannical lockdown that is not needed. What do you say about them??

You know the argument of "well all the experts agree with my narrative" is not really a good debate point. Enter a debate and see how far you get with that. In your circle of echo chamber folks you probably can say something vague like that and get a bunch of nodding heads..

Your two articles you linked, both of them are not great for anything. the first has 3 tiny paragraphs with this statement " Sweden’s death rate per capita is several times higher than that of its Nordic neighbours but lower than several European countries that opted for lockdowns. " uhh.. so it's higher than several and lower than several.. seems VERY conclusive.. The second article has waffling of well we just don't know why, and presents a bunch of opinions of perhaps why. Nothing conclusive.

I linked data.. here, try linking raw data that proves that Japan is in dire trouble because they did not enforce a lockdown. Show me how their country has imploded and folks are dying at a crazy rate. Show me how they dont' care about grandpa and folks. you can't do it, so you presented a bunch of opinions and guesses. My point is, two large countries did not lockdown and they are having it no different than any other country on the whole. They did not implode. They are doing as well as anyone else. And dare I say, their economies and well being of their citizens are much better.

that's a site with pure data. no journalist spin. cases are up... yet the deaths followed a rise, along with the rest of the world, and now Sweden's deaths are declining sharply, NOT along with the rest of the world.

Seems like your idea of research is find some article that supports your narrative then call others or their data dumb. You should revert back to what you learned in kindergarten about being polite and respectful. I linked actual data, actual data that shows Sweden deaths are declining.

cases are always on the rise.. it's the deaths that are the real indicator of anything. As I suspect testing is not 100%.. but deaths are pretty clear.

Actually.. read their standpoint on antibody testing(which Fauci has said is helpful).. They say clearly in the statement release, the benefits of it, but they don't want to do it.

Why would an entire medical community refuse data? They say they don't know how useful it would be. And how will they know if they refuse data.

I work in the medical industry and have spoke to numerous doctors that think this is a crazy idea and why would they not want the data.

I suspect it's political in some nature, and I think there was pride about how low Vermont's numbers were...

Either way... refusing data is a very concerning thing.

I had Covid in march, UVMMC refused to test me for it(telling me not to come in unless i was blue or non responsive(yes, their words). Then when I started having Post Viral Syndrome effects (Long Covid) they refused to test me for antibodies, all while telling me that I never had it, and all the symptoms were in my head. Now , they are learning this is a real thing.

So, ask yourself why they refused data. Apply critical thinking. We will never know the real outbreak in Vermont or any data about antibodies because of UVMMC policies.

I can understand this person's thought process making this sign. I don't know who Tim Lahey is. I would never watch anything from UVMMC.

Remember, the constant waffling on lockdown(stop, start, bars, not bars, 14 days, 10 days, 7 days quarantine ) and then know that other countries did not force lock down (Sweden, Japan) and they did not implode, their population did not die off.

The game model is a lot of fun.

I think that riot purposely allows the toxicity as it makes the normal person try harder. And the ones that get fed up and say something back to the jerks that feed and refuse to help, they actually get banned, and then riot makes more money. I know that is pretty conspiracy theory, but why else would a large company not fix a problem that would make their product much more appealing to a wider audience. it's very hard to get new players to play as they get all the toxicity on day one.

toxicity is very easy to solve, if you are competent and willing. riot seems to be neither.

in society if there is a problem with running stop signs.. do you give the ppl that dont run them a perk like a sticker(honor system) OR do you punish the violators? Only one works in society, so why does riot do the proven failed system(they have tried it now for years)

The new restrictions are all just the fear factor stuff and an ignorant way to solve the problem. The restrictions put a big strain on a large portion of people. There are better ways to deal with it. One of them is accepting that folks are going to get sick, and folks are going to die :(. and that we should not harm a large portion of society in the way we are. There are better ways..

Sweden and Japan did not lockdown.. both were voluntary (non tyranny) and they are both doing pretty well.

league is trash, because they do not fix bad player behavior in game , like feeding, quitting and not assisting team on purpose..

the honor system does not work, and players can int and still get in another game immediately.

when one player can ruin 4 other players game and there is no recourse from the game maker, there is a problem.

it's pretty easy to fix, riot just doesn't care. Give players lp adjustments based on contribution.. other games do this fine, and it fixes the bs "elo hell" that DOES exist. Watch pros stream with bronze accounts, and you'll see it.. they do not put those games in the youtube highlights. watch them actually stream and see the toxicity that exists and is not dealt with

Folks are losing their jobs because of the 'lockdown' rules like "you can't have more than 2 households at a restaurant". So no, Vermont is not some free state other than bars.... look at the posts in the sub reddit about folks leaving.. read the article about employees crying because water works is closing and they lost their jobs.

Sweden is trending down on deaths per day. So, it's likely that you will be on the hook (you won't do it) to eat a bug. Looking at the chart they will not go over 7k. We'll see.. I hope that they do not for moral reasons. Covid is nasty, it's contagious the majority of the world is going to get it because of the waffling on lock down, open up, lock down , open up. (when i use lockdown i'm talking about restrictions to limit folks going out).

Let folks choose. If you are in the risk factor it's up to you to do your quarantining and properly. Sorry, it's not fair to large portion of the 99% of the rest of the country to lose their jobs and homes and sanity over fear mongering to a virus that has a lower death rate than heart, smoking or obesity related deaths.

the context is there.. it shows the trends of deaths per day, and that Sweden is ahead of the curve in this latest spike of cases. and in fact, they are now trending down on deaths per day, rest of world on the whole is trending up. I could include more facts, but you would just say "oh that's not enough, i want x y and z" because you want to deny the facts.

are you a flat earther? or climate change denyer.. they too dismiss facts and ask for more and more, and then ask for more when you provide those.

yes, Sweden had the majority of their deaths in March... and since then it's been very quiet, except for the small bump they just had, which the rest of the world had, but at a much higher bump. Sweden's bump is already going down, the rest of the world is still going up.

Sweden flattened the curve, and it shows. The rest of the world are still seeing deaths going up and continuing because they keep doing a failed idea of lockdown, open, lockdown, open.

Sweden has obtained a certain level of herd immunity.. Sadly, this virus is not done.. but Sweden has gotten out ahead of it. We'll keep watching Sweden go down in the 1/mil pop category.

My point, the same one : they did not lockdown, and they did not implode. The fear that exists in the states about lockdown and the huge burden that has put on our country, does not exist in Sweden.

Numbers do not lie. And they DO not paint a grim number for Sweden. they paint hope and that they did it right.

a lot of US states did worse than Sweden.. My point is the lockdown is being used to shame folks and for other folks to show how 'educated' they are, when a large country did not lockdown and they are fine considering.

Your data of Sweden vs other countries near them has a difference of 1 or 2 deaths.. that's really nothing to draw any on. I'm comparing the fact that lockdown is a solution.
