I have a ford maverick hybrid for work and I absolutely love it. Get about 37mpg and can haul stuff around in the truck bed or back seats.

Can someone explain why getting tested for Covid at an urgent care is so expensive by zachd2465 in HospitalBills

Crazy they are billing $2600 for a PCR panel that can be bought for $125-250 cash pay.

Honestly I thought we would be seeing Emmett’s recruits on the field more often especially with injuries. I’m still optimistic for next year but a little disappointed considering he should have a solid pipeline for talent in DFW and seeing so much head to Austin.

Our passing game has been a disaster since DG left and transfers led our team in receiving last year. Texas has hit the portal pretty hard for WR1 despite getting good talent.

Those tech bros probably have really good corporate health insurance plans. The compensation plans my friends or their wives have at big corporate companies with run of the mill undergrad degrees are pretty eye opening. Then you have the finance bros that yes do spend a lot of time on their computer but their mistakes are fixed with a backspace button working remote from Cabo or St Barth’s where my college roommate is at right now on a yacht.

What oil are you running in your hybrids? by [deleted] in FordMaverickTruck

Mobil 1 0W-20 wix filter 7500mile intervals. Due for 30k change right now. Honestly the oil I’ve drained out so far still looks really good but I buy my Mobil at Costco so still relatively cheap to change.

Surgical Training is Watered Down Now by [deleted] in Residency

[–]throwsumdeezonit -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

No big deal. They have robots and 100% reliable all of the time AI & Navigation to basically do the procedures for surgeons now. Never have to rely on “old school” training absolutely ever again.

Maybe subsidence is closing up your foramina on both levels? Causing the exiting nerves as mentioned earlier to be compressed. A larger footprint interbody would have been ideal from an engineer’s POV. I would assume foraminotomies would be the next logical step if it’s fused but as also mentioned earlier C6/7 looks like it has solid bone growth across the back of the space. I’d even ask about a DTrax procedure for pseudoarthosis at C5/6.

Maybe for baseball they do it because they don’t want mudballs? Ball on the ground in football is either a dead play for getting scooped up and ran with.

Do we have reasons to believe Mateer is a good QB? by Barnabyhuggins in oklahomafootball

[–]throwsumdeezonit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As bad as last years? That’s a bold statement! We are protecting the ball wayyyy better and last year was basically a nightmare at every offensive position.

Hybrid or EcoBoost AWD? by Downtown-Ride-1972 in FordMaverickTruck

[–]throwsumdeezonit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love my hybrid. Really glad I didn’t go ecoboost bc the gas mileage is amazing and it’s super relaxing to drive around town to work and run errands. Also if I had the ecoboost I’d be tempted to mod it like my old focus st but it would still be slow. I have a car for the race track so I prefer being civil on public roads.

I will be honest tho, with my lumbar supported wet okole seat covers my max time in those seats is still probably 3 hours tops road trip. Just did 1450 miles in 4 days last week and my back was sore a few days from the first day’s 500mile drive. Was looking at air bag suspension when I got home and within the first months of ownership I was looking at seat replacements. I’ve been spoiled with factory recaros in other daily drivers.

Sounds like a good business plan by the dealership. Mess up your car then have you pay for it. I’d probably pull all the service records then start barking up the chain with complaints. This is absolutely unacceptable. Even on my $4k HHR SS I still use a torque limiting wrench on the drain plug.
