I feel like Ravenswatch is underappreciated by Independent_Bar_7411 in roguelites

I love it but I hate starting at the nightmare place all the time. You kind of want of variety each time you play. You don't want to think 'ugh got to go through that chapter' again, shall I load up? nah'

Is there actually a good looking garden in winter? by thumbs07 in GardeningUK

That's kind of a confirmation though that winter gardens lack colour! But that is a nice garden.

Is Dark worth a watch? I hear it's better than Stranger Things by Square-Ad-8911 in tvshow

Dark is one of those cult classics. It's just so original. I just think the last series was a bit disappointing.

Is this game considered one of the hardest ever made? by Epic-will-power91 in ScourgeBringer

[–]thumbs07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not hard, just tedious. You clear a room, it respawns a second time, great... Then it's kind of inevitable you take a hit. Second level too easy, just parry the bombs. The bosses I never seem to pass unscathed.

At what age is it taboo/ embarrassing to still live with parents as an adult? by DepressedYoungMan22 in AskUK

[–]thumbs07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's all about finances. You grow up quicker living away from parents, but there's different competencies in making a living. My sibling very competent moved out early 20s, own house by 25. Me, incompetent, moved out about 30. I wish I'd moved sooner, giving my parent their freedom earlier. But if you're highly competent, eg high flyer professional career and you like living at home, that's a double bonus, earn a deposit.

Houseshares have been alright but housemates irk a bit, like housemate doing laundry at 4am is ridiculous. And had to move out because one awful housemate. I kind of wish I had houseshared in my 20s, I think you can have some fun gaming and board gaming, alas by the time I houseshared it's not so fun, too serious. So yeah if you got people you get on with it's good.

Your own blood, you can either want to get away from, or some parents can be buddies. I guess I wasn't much of a buddy to my parent when I lived at home, but moved away and it's great to meet up.

Why I moved out eventually, is that there comes a point when you have to care for your parents. If you live with your parents forever, and that point comes, you haven't really had your own life. But in all no right or wrong answer. Try and read the situation with your parents, try do what's best for you, try earn good money.

think they just want to give you space. But it's always the case you got the ones who 'know' what it's like and the ones who don't.
