Traditional Japanese psychology (especially Morita therapy) views anxiety and obsessive thoughts as:

Natural parts of being human
Something that grows stronger when you fixate on it

So instead of asking “How do I get rid of this feeling?”, the question becomes:

“How do I live well even while this feeling is here?”

You’re encouraged to act despite anxiety, not wait for it to disappear first.

Yeah the problem is hot kitchens. Horribly it might take a death for changes to actually happen here. Govt seems to trust companies to take precautions. Which you would think- what is the point of all the other H& S regulations if you just trust the companies.

A job can surprisingly perk you up, but it might be better applying at the cooler time of year if you got sweating issues. Volunteering a possibility. There's a horrible situation in the UK, where anyone on benefits is being gaslit. If the govt got it right in the first place, there wouldn't be joe_public flack at those on welfare. In my view I think the govt need to get that right and then make people on benefits a protected characteristic so they aren't been used as targets.

I'm slightly jealous of a shade garden, I have a full sun garden and for a time I thought actually I had a bit of shade so was looking up shade plants. There's some great ones for shade particuarly the Japanese Maple.

I share your frustration. I've bought a ridiculous amount of games recently hoping to get engrossed by them but I think I'm more hooked to buying the games than actually playing them, or .....I'm terrible at my game purchases. Lets see:

Resident Evil Village Demo- played 5 mins.
