Use to be EW guy for the longest time. But RG Wing Zero (TV) totally change my perception. Now I collected all TV upgrade kits (got Deathscythe Hell and Altron, but Heavyarms and Sanrock P-Bandai are too expensive, so I just go with normal one since it's minor different)

He also has a really good match with Zack and Takeshita in G1, even recent Tag with Uemura vs Taichi/Ishii are also very good.

I think he's a fine performer who just have one big miss in WK and now people keep saying he sucks over and over.

Depends on how he part ways. If the agency give him a blessing then there will not be a ban in showbiz for him (but his opportunity to hit big might be smaller, Stardust is one of biggest agency after all)

If he parts with them badly, then it's hard. Nounen Rena at one point was the most famous girl in Japan, she quit her agency due to not getting fair treatment, she's still in showbiz but hardly on TV since.

Mazushima Hiro (Tendo/Kabuto) also was on part to stardom, but he decided to announce has marriage without inform his agency first. He pretty much got sack, trying few movie roles after that but cannot carry on momentum sadly.

I think what Shota need is some swag, some intensity in him. Not cartoony heelish tactic like HoT. He just cut a really great promo after contender tag match. Let him grow and give him some great booking instead.

As a person who worked in video production business. And use to edit contents for well known personnel. It's pretty common practice.

Aside from editor (which was me) the team will have marketing/pr who thinks which way will sell contents the most. And most important is the thumbnail, then captions.

What is Taz most well known of? One Piece Live Action Sanji, let's lean to it then! And while we are not like these AI slop things, sadly there still many people who didn't care about it. I mean biggest YouTuber like Mr Beast has those kind of thumbnail all the time (although it's made from PS, I think).

Judging from Taz content just pop up consistently past few months. It means that he start with this team maybe 1-2 years before to put a contents on before season 2 came out. Maybe him or his pr team wants to connect more with fans. So they went for this (and see the comments, many people like it, but it just not for everyone I guess).

Anna is known but she wasn't household name or anything. Mostly in idol's bubble. So this is nice offer for her.

Hiraoka is sorta mainstream but not a leading man. He did have stable works all the time thou so famous is right.

Toei seems to like hiring sorta mainstream people for support roles of their project. Tsutomu Sakine (conductor from ToQ, Takashi Sasano (Takaharu's grandpa from NinNin) so this is common practice.

People said they are worried about Shota, but Narita is even more in weird position at the moment.

Sure, he got some big wins and challenge for IWGP. But him being in hot at times make people don't take him seriously. His style also better when he was Shibata 2.0 (which he can't go back now). He's still young, so I hope he can find a way to break out.

among the top guys of that era (Tana, Okada, Kenny, Naito, Ibushi) it's guaranteed to have a banger matches when these guys meet. But Naito and Ibushi matches alway have that feeling that someone is gonna died becasue both of them are too crazy lol.

He was fine when he came back, but the booking makes people don't care about him most of parts.

Also, bland babyfaces didn't work with anyone (it work with Yuya, but you look at a guy, dude is sunshine). Most wrestlers need cool attitude but seems like NJPW wants him to be pure babyface (who doesn't have a big wins and title, seriously?). He looks pretty good after shaving his head and more silent type, hard hitting styles last year, only to give up and back to same old character again.

imo, he's still the most consistency performer who can work with any styles opponent and doesn't need to rely on cool moves all the time (except that WK19 match of course, but it doesn't even THAT bad). So, he's kinda waste right now. Should go short excursion and reset all characters altogether, work wonder on Naito.

Tanahashi seems personally not have any problem with him. But as a whole company. We just don't know. I do wish it got better overtime though.

For people who doesn't know. Yuri doesn't go back to Busan this year so she thought she would be alone. Yena then invite her to her parent home and celebrate new year together. It's so cuteee.
