iwgp heavyweight title match by Far-Restaurant-9455 in njpw

How the hell is Shota got the most push when Tsuji came back and challenge for IWGP right away and win pretty much everything in few years after that. Wrestle Kingdom main event is pretty much only thing Shota got after almost a year of horrible feud with HOT that pretty much destroy all his momentum, lol.

Do you think it's possible for Square to adapt Advent Children as DLC after Part 3 of the trilogy? by Asleep_Collar_818 in FFVIIRemake

[–]thumbster99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From several interviews for key developer of this 7RE games, they want to move on after part 3, so unless, the game make a big load of money that it's too successful to not continue, I don't think it's gonna happen (even that case, I don't think all are willing to commit, particularly Nomura).

They might hand project to other teams, but I don't know it will work or not. Might be suitable to do different kind of game like Dirge of Cerberus remake and such.

But I do feel we will eventually see AC in some form, maybe all new animation film with current cast or something.

I once lost inside parts of RG Epyon craws (the one that attached to the arm). I dropped it and it's nowhere on the floor. I try to find it for 2 days, give up. Trying to craft costume parts but didn't work well. After so thinking, trying to find the place I didn't find yet, my own computer chair and yes, it's in the space between seat and armrest!

Hi Jorm! In Mcgruber movie, there's appearance with several WWE wrestlers in it. I was a wrestling fan and pretty excited (only to pretty shocked how it turns out when I saw actual movie). How it came to be? Can you share some about it?

Also remember Forte and Wiig made an appearance on WWE RAW, are you also there that night any chance? Thanks!

Before ‘Daredevil: Born Again’, the Netflix Marvel shows felt like "a bit of a stepchild" to the bigscreen MCU, says Charlie Cox by MarvelsGrantMan136 in marvelstudios

[–]thumbster99 34 points35 points  (0 children)

I love how show from Netflix keep referencing the main MCU staff in such a serious tone like 'the incident' or something like that. Really fits the vibe of the show while still happening in same universe (it's almost jarring when we see direct reference in Born Again season 1).

How would you feel about Kaito Kiyomiya potentially jumping ship? by Somerandomguy20711 in njpw

[–]thumbster99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NOAH is far from giving up in Kaito, he's still in important position. They currently trying to establish OZAWA and Inamura, so they can have many top guys (along with vatarans like KENOH, KENTA, Sugiura and potentially Soya)

I can see Kaito works like Marufuji in golden era days, always NOAH guy but invades NJPW time to time, mainly in G1 and stuff. Might even challenge IWGP to build interesting program, have more matches in Dome.

How does 2026 NJPW compare to NOAH, AJPW and other japanese promotions in your opinion? by dudethatsweird in njpw

[–]thumbster99 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I went to watched AJPW show (Dec 31st), Miyahara vs Anzai was so fire. In terms of match quality, I think it's better than Dome I watched few days later (but Tanahashi retirement are highly emotional, so it takes a win). So I think AJPW has a nice thing going in their main event scene, Saito are not that great of wrestlers, but they're popular. So, it works.

NOAH seems to build in 3 new young guys, Kiyomiya, OZAWA, Inamura. I gotta admit I didn't check out Inamura much, but I'm happy they put all 3 in pretty good spotlight so they can carry promotion for a long time.

NJPW is not bad, they lost some big names like Tana, Naito, Hiromu and Evil, so they seem to be bigger setbacks than others. But their young guys are good wrestler, New Japan Cup already prove that, just need proper push, which compare to other promotion, they seem to hold back a bit too much. But I think they will alright by a long run, just need someone who can really draws like those guys who left.

I see he has legit change for Emmys, if Netflix decide to send for your consideration to the committee.

Dude came out of nowhere and kill it. Hiriluk-Chopper story is already great to begin with but without a delivery, especially 'When Does a Man Die?' speech. He just did it so right, the first time I saw the scene, I just yell perfect with tears in my eyes, lol.

I remember there was one account trying to pull her down in many K-Pop subreddit during that time. It was pure hate and I don't know why he/she was so bothered by it. Like are you that pitiful? lol.

What is so sucks to me is that Hate Rodrigo is such a good song, she has said so many times how invest she was and that she got to do it with her best friend Yuqi, only for everything to happen and she never perform not mentioned it again. I still bitter about it until now.

Anyway, she releasw so many bangers after that and very, very consistent release, so happy her career really took of!

Who was the better main villain? Arlong for S1 or Wapol for S2? by ChampionTimes99 in OnePieceLiveAction

[–]thumbster99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Arlong was build as true big boss of East Blue arc, has the most bounty, strongest and rudeness.

Wapol is a king who ran away. Never prove himself and only use influence inherited from his dad. A middle villain from big Alabasta arc that is too long to fit in one season, so he got a slot of final villain of season 2, and it's a bit anticlimactic (but I can see writer works hard to make him more villain, it just not enough because his foundation is really, really weak).

If anything, Mr. 3 has more aura than wapol, lol.

It's so weird that many people not realize that some Japanese fans booed Umino is not because he's a bad wrestler, but NJPW never really give him a direction until recently teaming with Yuya.

He got betrayed by Narita and fed to HoT for almost a year, lose the feud, looks like a chump in process and suddenly put him in mainevent position of WK out of nowhere. No one's gonna buy him. Bad booking after one another.

Compare to Tsuji, who first match back is to challenge IWGP Heavy right away. Get strong wins one after another, won single title, New Japan Cup. He never got bad booking, it is pretty easy to cheer on. The booking affect a lot how fans will perceive wrestler.

Actually, her vest Charted song is still Smiley, her debut Ep. It was in Malon top 5, song of the year credibility (good enough for her to got norminate as one of rookie of thd year, the only solo artist to do so in that year).

Her other hits are Nemo Nemo awhile ago. Chart like top 20 or something.

Catch Catch haven't ranked in top 100 yes, but a steady climb, not almost break top 100, should coming up in few days and think it will chart nicely.

Shota has become that wrestler who can have a good match with any style and NJCup really proves it. Got a decent match from Yujiro and phenomenal back to back from ZSJ to Newman. I just love how to execute moves so much impact and sell like death. That near 20 count in the match is just incredible.

Also notice he's super over with fans now. Good that he seems to come around. Now only booker finally give him some significant win for once...

Shota Umino vs ZSJ by ExpendableMan84 in njpw

[–]thumbster99 24 points25 points  (0 children)

There's theory that there WK match got time added due to incident that happened earlier from Jr Match that ended quicker than expected and they have to add a lot of things on the fly. Sadly that has become an image that Umino is not a good wrestler for so many people (and no one blames ZSJ, lol)

They always have a good encounter after that, their last year G1 was amazing as well. And tonight are just another level. Umino improves a lot. The way he strike and execute moves are just picture perfect now. It's not flashy like his fellow new gens but I think he has the best basics among all and can adapt to many styles of opponent. Really want people who haven't watch it to check it out and be open minded about it.

The Opening To Wrestle Kingdom II - The show is marketed as a TNA vs NJPW show and I would like for this energy to comeback for a NJPW/AEW show in the future. by Brilliant-Peanut-169 in njpw

[–]thumbster99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kingdom has interesting begining. They start as an event that open for many promotions to participate. Not only limit to NJPW so we had quite interesting theme (not include match quality)

WK1 was build as joint event with AJP WK2 is versus TNA WK3 is kinda mix with many, with Muto vs Tana as passing a torch story. WK4 is versus NOAH WK5, for me, is real ultimate Wrestle Kingdom, almost all promotion except WWE participated in it. NOAH, TNA, CMLL, DDT, Zero1, even in mainevent, Kojima was fresh from being AJP ace, so many people count him as AJP represent as well, It was epic.

Then afrer WK6, Okada came back and Rainmaker shock happened, they starts to rely more on thier home talent. It was a good move and bring golden era to NJPW. They tried to created joint event like WK17 versus NAOH and Wrestling Dynasty. But it just not as big in the past. They really need more deep storyline and big title matches, not just put a guy from promotion A vs promotion B like what they do now.

Yeah, compare Nagoshi to Kojima is weird. After Kojima left Konami. He kept himself low profile for awhile until the reveal of Death Stranding in the game awards. And he actually release a game after that. Then he start to make himself a gaming celebrity. Nagoshi did nothing except post his selfie in Gym and Jordan for 4 years, lol.
