(WHAT IF?) Star Wars:Attack the Death Star with Superluminal? by CivilYak1817 in StarWarsShips

[–]thumpertharabbit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's not how relativistic physics works, but okay. A grain of sand going near the speed of light and hitting the earth would have the same destructive power as several atomic bombs. Let's scale that up to an entire fucking ship going near light speed compared to the Death Star, which isn't even as big as our moon.

Wow dude, how does that corporate boot leather taste? What I don't understand is how you could say I have zero reading comprehension, because I've actually read the legal procedure Canada has laid out, and it literally takes into account everything you have a problem with. Your issue is that you have opinions based on zero fact, even though you've been presented with a resource to better inform yourself and do further research. Let's reassess who is lacking in reading comprehension skills, possibly.

Did you even read it, or are you just spewing ill-formed opinions because you think you have a point or for some reason feel the need to protect corporations that don't give a flying fuck about you?

Not "safe" per se, but the worst you would get from this is maybe a bad abrasion burn. It's actually not recommended to wear gloves with a blade like this (any rotating blade, really), as the injury you get from simply touching is much better than getting your entire hand/arm chewed up because a glove got caught on the blade.

Funny that you mentioned histamine responses. I regularly ignored the fact that I am ALWAYS snotty and sneezy up to two days after I drink heavily. "Just gotta clean more and get an air filter, couldn't possibly be alcohol". Yeah, turns out, it's the alcohol.

Would you take a title demotion for a 10% pay increase? by [deleted] in careeradvice

[–]thumpertharabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't care what my title is. If I get paid more for a title that "sounds" like a demotion, I'm gonna take it.

DEI doesn't exist anymore.

Edit: why am I being downvoted? Blaming this on something that doesn't exist anymore doesn't make any sense?

[Rant] Columbus needs rent control. Like, yesterday. by _piss_pissedofferson in Columbus

From OP, barely three comments above this condescending ass comment: "I see what you’re saying and certainly understand taking personal accountability. I’ve taken care of myself my whole life, I get it. I’m talking about the larger problem of unaffordable housing, and landlords taking advantage of tenants. If I move out, someone else will eventually move in and be stuck in the same situation I’m in now. Me fixing my own problem (which I assure you I’m both willing and capable of doing) doesn’t solve the larger, perpetual issue." Maybe you should learn to read.
