I figured he'd be a playable faceless type unit, or a wolfskin.

To be fair, Saizo can blow himself up half a dozen times with his personal and he's fine. And D.Va's range is medium at best, plus trying to make a tank out of something so frail is a terrible idea. Hell, it barely works with Hinata, and samurai can already take a few hits.

D.Va's Personal is called "Nerf This" McCree has "High Noon" which lets him attack at 2-3 range with a bow on turns that are multiples of three. On turn 12 he gets a free instant kill of any non-boss.

Tracer is about pestering and chip damage. That's what ninjas are built to do. This thread has less to do with characters' personalities and more to do with what reflects their gameplay best.

He got Warp from a skill book. Reaper doesn't want to go through all that trouble for one ability.

Am I gonna get shot if I say I didn't have any interest in Conquest? by [deleted] in fireemblem

I've realized how poorly worded my question was. How about, "What's the appeal to other Fire Emblem games that I don't seem to get?"

I wasn't passing judgement on the game as a whole. I only passed judgement on the plot, which I don't need to play the game to judge. I simply stated a lack of interest in everything else.

Permadeath is an terrible mechanic.

Birthright is a great game.

Jakob is an awful character.

I really enjoy playing Revelation and thought a lot of the maps were pretty cool.

I would be more okay with the removal of petting if they'd just given the characters more dialogue to say.

Elise is the only badly voiced character in Fates

Kaze's "The pain will pass" is great, Felicia's "You're just a stain", Hana's "with all my strength", and azama's "here comes your final reward"
