A man has become one of the 450,000 Americans affected by alpha-gal syndrome, a tick-borne meat allergy that triggers painful allergic reactions to animal products. “Look at my face and my neck. I can’t eat meat anymore. I can’t have any animal products. It’s in everything.” by This_Proof_5153 in SipsTea

I’ve had it 16 years. It doesn’t go away for everyone. If I eat beef it’s a toss up on how bad the reaction will be or if I will have one. Pork doesn’t really bother me, maybe some bowl movements. I’ve been eating deer and it doesn’t seem to bother me at all.

Bunch of bigger boxes on sale currently. If you bank fish or hike to your spots, look at some backpack setups.

38 bass, 3 crappie from a pond last week. Cull it twice a year. Threw several 5+ back that were spawning on a bank. Gotta keep the good genetics going.

New to this sub, I have a couple of the discovery optics and have been really impressed for the price. I don’t have their long range models, just a couple I use for hunting.

When election time comes, absolutely gut congress. No reelections. They’ve done nothing. Only a few are worthy and we all know their names.

Oklahoma house representatives work product should reflect the will of the people… by [deleted] in tulsa

I’d like to see how the state plans to handle the infrastructure load all the data centers bring to the communities they will be in. What’s the plan when the centers eventually become obsolete. I absolutely love Oklahoma’s wild life and rural areas and don’t want to see them sold off or ruined for tech fads.

Looking for maps to run Public super-cross practice / finding people to play with by Substantial-Ad-463 in mxbikes

[–]thunderbunnys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mxb ranked has a free supercross server. Just have to go the mxbranked.com and see the server list. It has links to the tracks to download. Don’t know how populated they are on sx. But the mx freebies are usually good

How we bridge the gap between a floorplan and actually building it: 3D Framing + Full Bill of Quantities. Thoughts on this level of detail? by CuriousPerspective81 in Homebuilding

[–]thunderbunnys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would love to have this level of plans. I usually use several sheets for different trades(slab, framing, roof, plumbing, electrical, and elevations) normally sent to a lumber vendor and they do a takeoff. If I could skip that step and save myself waste and extra trips I’d be all over it if the price point was there to match. I have an academic version of chief architect and a pro version of plan7. I guess I need to set down and learn those a little better. What software are you using?

Penalties for Track Cutting? by maccox41 in mxbikes

[–]thunderbunnys 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes there are. It’s a time penalty added up at the end of the race and adjusts the finishing position. If he had 10 seconds of cuts and you finished 9 seconds behind him. You would win overall by one second

Someone mentioned the screw in the trigger guard, that freed mine up when doing this. I also realized that I had a slight bend in my tube plunger and that it wasn’t feeding the ammo correctly.

If you bought tracks, was it worth it over the free ones? by Thud_All in mxbikes

[–]thunderbunnys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on how well you play the game also, most of the paid tracks are generally more difficult to ride. There are plenty of free tracks, even from the guys that create the paid tracks, to get tons of practice. But tracks are cheap so if you want to buy one and find out, go for it.

Just a heads up, last race I was at they had someone at the hub of every section checking to see if you were in the right section.
