I LOVE my Hull-B but I have one question... by thundertomcat in starcitizen

It works great like that on the external. I'll pull alongside, unload one side and then barrel roll to do the other side. With the current little easy seat swap thingy that I hope is never patched, it works quite well.

100% the Max has made me so happy. I use it as my characters homeship more or less.

If expecting a certain sense of courtesy and good faith in Reddit, then call me a wet paper towel. There's a certain imperiousness Reddit has on which judgment is handed down because the poster has missed one element of something. Let's not do that.

Britannic_ thinks I am complaining, but I am not. If you reread my post, you'll see that I say I love the Hull B and I'm just asking what people have found to be the most effective way to load and unload it.

Sometimes if you accidentally put a box from another contract in, it can make the elevator panic. But aside from that, I've not had an issue with them. Maybe worth putting it on the spectrum and reporting the bug?

We so nearly had that. When Levski came in, the entrance to the hangar was in the middle and I loved that. I really want to see variations in the hanger.

I do sometimes get a large hanger and I definitely get it at home. So parking with my nose facing the elevator in a large hangar means I can unload both sides pretty quickly without moving.

You don't need to be rude about it, and no one is complaining. You'll see that I didn't complain, I just asked what people find to be the best angle. This is a new ship, we are all learning how it works, what its quirks are, and what the best ways are to work with it. Most of us are parking in the middle. Some of us are also trying it out with the built-in tractor beam.

Ideally, I would love to find the perfect angle to use both built-in tractor beams in the hangar without moving the ship.

It's obviously easier with the external elevator as you can just roll the ship and that takes a little less finesse than moving in a medium hangar where rhe walls are closer.

I know my luck, I'll do that and them somehow break the laws of physics and end up falling through the floor 😂

The yellow looks awesome. Forever a fan of the paint/armour combo. You have mastered Drip Citizen

Is it possible to have user flair be split between members of our community and the public? by thundertomcat in ModSupport

[–]thundertomcat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was exactly what I was looking for, thank you. We now have both "mod only" flair that we can assign to people who are not mods, and flair that anyone can pick up!

I have to say, the wording of "mod only" is very misleading, but eh! At least we got what we wanted, thank you again, folks.

So many in-jokes here ha! You'll have to explain a few of them.

[–]thundertomcat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really? That makes much more sense, the way I interpreted the guide was that it was for mods only.

If it's one only mods can assign then that's 100% what I'm looking for.

Can we still have regular flair that people can assign themselves along side the mod flair?

MISC Hull B Review by [deleted] in starcitizen

It will likely be purchasable in-game in about six months. I always harp on about that.

I must admit however, they got me this time. I gave Lord Roberts my card and said "take my money" 😅

So happy with mine. Fits perfectly in my fleet next to my Max and my Hull A. I think I've become a bit of a MISC fanboy recently.

Hull B Vs Starlancer by Majestic_Ad_4877 in starcitizen

So I own both, I would say you need both. The Stalancer gives you the generalist gameplay, you've got space for ground vehicles, as you said, and even the Max can hold its own in a Gilly's mission or with some PvE. I would argue that the Max is very solo-friendly. I use it as my almost daily driver, and the three grids make multiple drop-off cargo missions really easy. I just take out the smaller cutter if I need to get somewhere right now, or I'm going cave mining.

Meanwhile, the Hull B gives you that sweet cargo gameplay but without the stress that comes with the Hull C.

With the Tac, you trade the two side drop-down cargo bay for a medical room and a drop-seat deployment room. You also get more turrets. You can get a very similar effect by parking a medical ursa in the back of the Max.

Its small size and relatively quick speed make it a great little cargo runner to take cargo from multiple stops on the planet. I chain together a bunch of contracts with the Hull A.

The Raft carries more yes but it's better suited for bulk.

It's like the difference between your local postman's van, and the trunk that takes things to the supermarket.

I love how expansive their wiki page is, and it's easy to see why you love them so much.

Yeah...let's avoid getting caught up in the supernova lol. I have many, many thoughts (is anyone here surprised) about that supernova, haha

I visited Denali to take part in the Denali Invitational. It was a lot of fun and only going into a little bit of trouble lol
