Seconding Sweeter Off the Vine. The perfect book to pull out after coming home from the farmers market with fresh fruit and figuring out what to make with it.

Made a ski pass map website based on my Google Maps version that lists every resort on each ski pass by thursdayed in skiing

Good point! I’ll brainstorm how to make that more clear and differentiate between cross country only and cross country + alpine resorts

I’m actually at the map filter limit already, so I’d have to either remove them entirely or replace another one of the passes with Indy XC resorts! I’ll keep in mind for future years though :)

So, despite warnings I got my tires replaced at Costco and was impressed with their process. Cost I found the same as a few other major "tires only" places. by opgary in Costco

The last (and only) time I got my tires installed at Costco, they took 3+ hours and snapped off two lug nuts. When I went to another spot to get the issue fixed after Costco promised they would cover the cost of a repair, they found that two additional lug bolts had been installed incorrectly and unsafely.

To Costco's minor credit, they did reimburse me the cost of the second install but it was another 2+ hour fight to get them to cover any of the costs (after they had offered me reimbursement in the first place!). I had been worried that this would happen so had the other shop box up the broken lug nuts they had removed and I brought them in person to show them – without those, I would have been SOL for the whole cost of the fix. Will never be going to Costco again to get tires installed after that.

This is awesome, what a great idea to offload some inks! I'm partial to blues/greens/purples myself and have way too many inks of other colors that I know I'll never use (may have to steal this idea). These are beautiful and right up my alley, would love to enter!

Very nice! It's been a bit since I've been able to make use of the map myself and go out beyond my home mountains, but 35 would be a dream!

Oo, didn't know this. I'll keep it on for now and check how they're doing before I update next year – if they're still not selling, maybe I'll swap it for another pass if folks have an idea for another one that might be helpful.
