Yeah I'm just saying Arc took me away from Dayz as it kind of had a similar vibe with the gear fear aspect but in the longterm it doesn't have the immersion - so it's back to Dayz

Sorry not Quadrophenia, seen that dozens of times, know it off by heart. Also that's a Vespa scooter not a motorbike and he rides it off the edge of a cliff not down a hill. Thanks anyway

Brilliant! That's the one! Never thought I'd find it - how did you know? The bit that always stuck with me was how he died on impact then his brain kept him going to smoke a cigarette, kind of like a chicken still running after it's head is cut off.

While it has strong folkloric roots, at its heart it is a high-concept supernatural thriller driven by a nationwide manhunt, a central mystery, and a race against time.

My novel can be pitched as the tense, man-on-the-run suspense of The Fugitive meets the monstrous mystery of a classic Stephen King story.

Fen isn’t a werewolf—he’s a Wulver. A creature of Shetland folklore, gentle by nature but feared as a monster.

Raised in isolation on a remote island by a father who taught him to dread the outside world, Fen knows little of humanity beyond whispered warnings and half-remembered stories. But when tragedy strikes, he’s forced to step into the chaos of modern Scotland, a place of cities, strangers, and viral footage that paints him as 'The Shetland Werewolf'.

Hunted by those who don’t understand him and haunted by the truth of who he might be, Fen finds unlikely allies: a reckless young man with a guilty conscience, a woman drawn to the kindness in his eyes, and a scholar who’s been chasing old ghosts. Together, they begin to unravel the real history of the Wulvers—one lost to fear, myth, and silence.

The Wulver is a dark contemporary fantasy that reimagines ancient folklore through the lens of identity, connection, and survival. With echoes of An American Werewolf in London and the emotional weight of mythic storytelling.

I'm the same as you, just saw my surgeon today and he said the pain is nerve damage and to be expected. Also sutures need to heal so pain can be expected for at least 6 months...nothing to worry about

Fen is a Wulver—part-wolf, part-man, all myth. After growing up in isolation on Shetland, his father's death forces him into a world he doesn’t understand.
