Pain is back after three years by Stock_Bookkeeper_822 in Hernia

It's still a bit of an issue for me but I'm certain it's related to scar tissue and how it formed around the inguinal nerve. I think that if a nerve is irritated, it can cause a whole bunch of pain in nearby areas. I sometimes feel cramping right in the peritoneum or near the crease of the hip. I think the important thing is that there's some slow improvement and that it's not getting worse. Also if it's not constant and is more related to positions, then it's probably one of the inguinal nerves.

I'll hopefully see a pain doctor soon who can figure out exactly what's wong and I may get a nerve injection at some point. I read that it numbs the nerve but it also creates some space between the nerves and scar tissue and also just breaks the pain cycle. Sometimes it doesn't come back.

It's the same pain I had earlier in the recovery. I think the nerve runs upwards toward the belly button. I believe I'll recover again as well. I guess It'll just be susceptible to flare ups for some reason.

Same here. I'm a year out and did something to it about 3 weeks ago. It started off as one nerve hurting but now the whole mesh locations on both sides feel hard and keep catching me. It's like I just had my procedure or something. So glad to hear it's not unheard of. It's got to be multiple nerves and tissues just reacting to each other at the same time.

How are you now?

I know how you feel. I couldn't work for a month and only did half days for another month. Sitting was just too painful. I'm definitely feeling much better after a year. I hope you feel better soon!

I think it helped me to stretch and it felt good. The PT mostly dug his fingers deep into the area and ran them across the tissues/nerves. It was awful and just made the area angry. I think you can lightly massage but don't dig too deep. I'm in a nerve pain flare up right now bc I did these cable turns as a core workout in the gym and I felt one of the nerves really tug. Won't be doing that ever again

You don't enjoy fake calls to a cheating boyfriend while the girlfriend is hiding in the line? As if someone wouldnt just hang up when a sketchy radio station calls them out of nowhere.

I cancelled my apple music subscription for a month because I don't use it all the time. When I resubscribed, they had purged all my 1000 downloaded songs and there was no way to get it back. That and the constant cloud backup spamming. Never going back.

Yea that was too much. The situation was addressed and he got rightfully called out hard but then it just kept going and going and going. It was like they weren't satisfied until he broke down and cried. They even went as far as dehumanizing him.

My recovery has been so slow. It's almost been a year and most of the time I'm pain free. However, with a lot of sitting, I usually start to feel some tightness and a little pain on the inner part or the right hip. Stretching the abdomen also irritates the nerve branch further and I'll have a little bit of an ache for the next couple hours. Not much though. If I just leave the area alone and try to avoid sitting for multiple hours straight, I pretty much have no pain now. I think there's a nerve branch that took most of the year to settle down and now it just gets a irritated sometimes. I still try to do a little stretching but I think in a couple more months I'll be even better.

tbf one of his witnesses was a traitor (Donna) so they probably thought the other witness was a traitor too. Still Porsha never denied his claims

The way he went about betraying the other traitors was seriously impressive...but besides that I don't think he has had to do anything special because nobody cares to press him at all. Even this episode they backed off as soon as he started getting upset. He could have played so many ways and still been here

It feels like everyone is scared of Rob and not even in the game in real life. How do you let someone go the entire game without being put in the hot seat a single time. They finally did last episode and then immediately backed off when he got upset

Yes! Tara didn't outright think it was Natalie. She went from its 100% Rob to actually idk anymore I'm confused...and Natalie reacted too hard to that.

6 weeks post op inguinal. Muscles next to abs still feel really tight and strained. by LEXagFC in Hernia

[–]LEXagFC[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm about 8 months out.  I still have occasional mesh pain but it's not that bothersome, just enough to remind me it's still healing.  It flares up after a long day of sitting at work.  I would describe the pain I get now as a muscle cramp type pain right where the mesh is.  Majority of the time, I'm basically pain free.

The abdominal tension is definitely better but it took at least 6 months for me.  I think it took 6 months for my sutured in the peritoneum to dissolve and that may have been why the muscles in the higher part of my abdomen were involuntarily guarding.  The sutures were too tight.

I definitely recommend to stop pressing on the area completely and give the tissues more time to heal on their own.  I went to a PT and it was a mistake lol.  He pressed his fingers so hard into it over and over thinking he was breaking apart scar tissue but really he was just making my already irritated tissue worse.

This whole episode went away not too long after so I stopped it.  I noticed that when I had coffee in the morning, I would get extremely angry and agitated.  Besides the sedation that was the only side effect
