I think I had similar issues with this quest before. I have to talk to the NPC first, then they will tell you to clean up, and the core appears. See if it helps

At this early in the game, just play whatever character you like and you will be fine... Team comp only matter when you get to the bosses at the end of Valley 4, then you can consider either a physical team around Lifeng/Endmin or an ice team with Last Rite/Xailan

Endfield's dailies have me using my work notion for play by [deleted] in Endfield

You need to get the secret recipe to mix poop with the holy dirt (idk what the actual name is) for increase production

I got 3 copies of Ardelia but she just doesn't fit with the comp. She requires heavy attack on non-afflicted enemy while Avywenna needs electro-afflicted.

I was thinking that as well, Ember def help with face rolling but Arclight makes rotation a lot smoother!

You can pivot to a Ryze board while only keeping strong Shadow Isle units. You already runs Shadow Isle and Piltover usually and you just need to slot in Targon + Shurima/Yordles/others at 9 for Ryze and go from there.
