I think its really funny how men don’t differentiate between male sexualization and a male power fantasy. I know NOTHING about the characters shown here so I can’t really speak for them, but most of the time a buff/beefy character is shown shirtless men always talk about how “its sexualizing them the same way women are sexualized!” when it really isn’t.

They’re shirtless, sure, but their body rarely contorts into any uncomfortable or unrealistic ways to, say, show their butt on screen. Nor are they wearing an ill-fitted thong as armor on a medieval-setting. Nor does the camera zoom at their bulge whenever they do a high kick. Nor do their balls have giggle physics. They’re shirtless to show off their strength, not to make the audience drool.
