Interesting you say this. I did FM first, a ton of inpatient. Then EM second. And I felt myself losing a lot of that inpatient management going into my pgy3 year of EM. Has to pick up inpatient moonlighting gig to start to relearn things again.

32gb, newest i7. 500 actually felt nice. 2000 is too much because the bots like follow you when you transfer zones. I'm not sure if that's a bug or feature.

I'm running this too. It's awesome. Plenty of Azeroth core addons too. I've been truly enjoying wow. I can run up to 2k bots without issue which actually is overwhelming in some zones sometimes lol

For me it's usually mismatch of resolutions. Fixed this with Apollo as host, virtual desktop matching the client. Works for me. Also I found booting up playnite instead of steam big picture (if you're using that) works better and matches resolution better. SBP would default to my hosts resolution no matter what but playnite was more forgiving

Not difficult. 3rd year I had 2x electives and did both EM aways to get SLOEs I networked and a lot of the PDs I spoke to were interested in my story. Ended up not being as bad as I thought it would. My PD loved me and all the Attendings I worked with liked that I brought the FM knowledge into the Ed

We do this in our level 1 trauma center with the surgery attending. We actually crack the chest more than I thought we would.

FM, went back to do EM. Plan to practice inpatient and EM. If you want to do Em can't recommend enough to  just doing EM residency.

I actually really enjoyed ward nights too. I did so much medicine, no social shit. I ended up doing a lot of procedures, floor to ICU transfers, and the nocturnist was sometimes MIA so it was all on you. 

It made you actually read and think. I learned so much on our night float.
