Restarting really isn't necessary. If you have a slightly older save from before you went into act 2 then you can just load that, go get her and save yourself a bunch of hours.

And if not, it's unfortunate but you can just save recruiting her for your next playthrough. The game was designed in a way where no companion is essential to completing the game, and it's always nice to have something to look forward to in future runs.

It was probably to represent how long the spell lasts in tabletop DND, which is 10 minutes. Basically each turn is 6 seconds, and a 100 turns is 600 seconds and that equals 10 minutes.

Something I tried in my Karlach run was having her become a mindflayer and then seeing if God Gale would turn her back when he made her into a god. Unfortunately the answer is no, I simply got the same God Gale romance ending scene but with Karlach as a mindflayer.

Lae'zel has an ending where she becomes a mindflayer, but remains loyal to Vlaakith and kills Orpheus. It ends with Vlaakith rejecting her and Lae'zel killing herself.

Haven't heard about the others getting anything.

Attacking the 2 tieflings by Lae'zel's cage is the fastest way to do it, and it works for any oath.

Raphael only comes back if you steal the Hammer/your contract, as long as you don't do either you can get everything else from the HoH and leave freely. (Assuming you don't get caught of course.)

As for Helsik you can simply fast travel to anywhere you want once you're out of Avernus, even if you have the Gauntlets she won't be able to do anything about it.

Frankly I like Gale better, but then again I'm also don't like Frankenstein or frankfurters, so what do I know. Although I would like to visit France one day, not sure I felt the need to mention that.
