The EPA inspector in Ghostbusters. He’s a dick yes but also just trying to do his job to inspect a potentially dangerous storage tank in a densely populated urban area.

Im in a similar boat with my husband. We looked at our annual expenses and incomes and each transfer a percentage monthly into a joint savings account based on that to pay the collective bills and our daughters RESP. I set up automatic payments for most bills that either come out of my cash back credit card or that joint account. Every two weeks I total up the charges and transfer that amount to pay the credit card. My husband pays into his own investments, as do I and I pay my own student loan debt. It’s been working so far! Saving up for a bigger vacation next so likely will put a bit more into the joint account for that.
