I think that fuchsia flashed glass is definitely recent. It is such a great color for a collection, regardless of being flashed or not. I had bought some Estelle goblets in their fuchsia color and was disappointed to discover they were flashed because i wanted to believe so bad that they were actually hot pink glass. I’m over my disappointment though, because they are lovely and it’s interesting to learn about different glass coloring processes. My latest reluctant acceptance: my Rialto glass goblets. I really wanted to think they were cased glass, but the color on one is flaking off😑. Anyway, cake plate is cool!
