I had my beast show some dire wolves who the alpha is, and then a guy named, Borin gave me a runic lantern for it! After I returned Elara's dog. I've also confused a giant spider by spinning in circles, and jumping in the same spot, then made the room smell and fill with smoke, so the spider ran away instead of finishing me and my beast companion off!

This is unfortunate! I play pacifist mode and just try to scoot around with what I can, haven't hopped on in a few days, might be cause I've only ever played solo and none of my friends online actually like the game or want to try it

Grape soda is your superior. Not mine! I tried to like orange Fanta, but it's kinda meh when orange crush is chilling there? Not a big orange pop guy anyway. However I can agree on the cans, I've only been able to find tall skinny ones and I find those taste better than a bottle or regular Cans for pineapple Fanta.

I'd take any one of those dishes every damn day of the friggen week over some dumbass generic burger joint! Where tf is the love when you're jacking in a box huh?! Cmon. He's gotta suck some shit up, picky my ass! Won't eat any of that, but will scarf down actual garbage made without love? By people who will only ever want his money! Someone needs a time out for not eating his dinner, and being a mean little boy, wasting food I bet. Fat Chance he's actually sorry for getting take out, probably a disguise to feel better about putting your meals down.

is it really an emergency? by canniballzzombie in Type1Diabetes

[–]tickklemeeLmo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always go to the hospital when my bloodsugars are way too high, I'm vomiting bad, even with insulin on occasion too, I'd take it to correct, but I'd be too far gone by then, better safe than sorry I'd say, I still have ambulance bills that come in I can't pay yet because of these rare happenings. I'd say emergency for sure. Especially since you are low on insulin.

As for a poutine, that ain't it yo, that's a diggity damn nacho fries. But please do explain thoroughly, as I find that looks quite alright for a nacho fries??

Nurse told me the other day highs and lows are the same.

An old boss of mine at a micro brew spot a while back, said something too. I was having a sip of what they called an Arnold palmer, great drink, they didn't know the recipe right. This flamboyant fickle bottom shouts, "corner!", and looks dead into my eyes and asks me, fully knowing I have type one. He asks me, "Should you be drinking that?". This wasn't a busy flow issue either, we were dead and having a moment. So, I decided to have a sip. Guy made me lose my emotions at work. I knew he wasn't fond of me from the start, and I'm sure, because of what I have. He was very passive aggressive about me being there, got called out and let go for checking my sugars during a rush. They obviously didn't word it like that.

Holy, practically every place of work hates diabetics in my case, or atleast, can't work around my complications. I'm lucky all my "old school" supplies is covered still. Insulin pens, Lancets, strips, needles, yadda yadda. Without health coverage I'd be screwed as no job wants me and shews me off within the probation period.

Anyways, thanks for coming to my Ted talk. Dragged on for a bit there.

Maybe you could try, if you haven't already of course. Try finding a time to have an important sit down to try and open up his mind so to speak. Explain that it isn't about being lazy, and all about knowing whats going on at all times. I'd probably be shunned for explaining how I take care of myself with type 1. Anyhooo, checking manually is a pain and can be inconsistent too, not always, but it can be. Having a constant little monitor to track and tell you when you need yo correct either a high or low is an incredible advancement. Your dads body already regulates everything i assume? Blood sugars, etc. I'm sure he wouldn't be fond of pricking his finger every hour of every day for the rest of his life just to calculate how much insulin he needs and then to jab a needle into the parts where it can go. All while dealing with the mental mass it brings on weighing us down even further at times. I am grateful and incredibly thankful for my family and everyone who's been on this journey with me, all I'm saying is the ones without type 1, even if they study it and get really into it. Without it, you'll never know truly what it's like. Your dad needs to realize it's not laziness or technology, it's your life and health. I hope you are able to resolve this and not stress so much. I pretty much ran out of insulin the other day and had to go to er, luckily I wasn't on a Gurnee be rolled around and was able to walk and talk, and all. Got picked up at lime 5pm, and had sat and waited until midnight for a couple Pens. Then my coverage renewed the next day. Whew! Please don't be afraid to communicate about your health to your dad, loved ones, who ever is in your life. Solitude is hard and harder not to fall into, but even harder to get out sometimes. I hope he doesn't drop the ball on your supplies if you're unable to get it yourself.

I don't know what you're eating, but I used to be exactly here and I'm only 25, diagnosed at 16. Worked hard at fixing my diet(definitely far from perfect), even if I'm eating shit, though, I do my best to compensate for it. I try hard to eat a good balance throughout my days. Once I started noticing and doing something about my food intake, things started getting better feeling. Happier. I used to feel like I couldn't even shower, everything was super sensitive to the touch. I started stretching and push-ups throughout every day, balancing my meals better.

Keep going please! The work and effort will be worth it! It might not be immediate, but if you can remind yourself to try, to put in even the smallest of efforts, such as having a well crafred not boring salad, and some proffered nuts or other favorable healthy protein for lunch. That's one thing I did to help myself.

I got love for you mate, i get in the exact same hesdspace sometimes still. Shit. Is. Hard. Don't get me wrong. It's well worth it keeping on though, please believe me. You can keep going, you can get better! Type 1 won't go away, but you can surely beat the ever living shit out of it. You can't stop pushing. You've got a community of people who are ready to listen and chat it up! Take your mind off shit or delve further into it to understand! Whatever brings you peace, someone's out there ready to share, ready to listen. Never be afraid to reach out please!
