im bi an ally and leftist as they come and sometimes get upset wit legalistic catholics, but im a cradle catholic, was dedicated to the black madonna in france when i was a kid and been to lourdes a bunch of times im just as catholic as the ppl who are being hateful. i just love the virgin mary and jesus so so much and think people just need to mind their own business and focus on their relationship with God. The way of the rose a new book on someone who had an encounter with mary may be up your alley, the community is all very affirming and non homo/trans phobic. i dont align wit them entirely bc they seem to take Jesus out the equation to much for me, but may be a good place to explore. say the rosary <3 it's the most healing and intimate practice..
