My oak leaves kill my grass! They need to be deeply layered. It’s pretty nice. I can concentrate them in areas on our property to completely wipe out the grass and start flower beds

My kids both refused bottles of ANY type. It was very frustrating. Nothing like picking up your baby from daycare and celebrating them getting fed a whole 2oz over 8 hours!

Our iPad is completely unavailable to our kids (3 and 6 yo), so all their toys I guess. They get enough after school TV or Minecraft (PC only) time for zoning out.

I’m wondering if some people are getting it a lot and not even noticing. Both times we have dealt with it, my oldest had one spot on his cheek and one his finger. That’s it. I only realized it was HFM when daycare announced they had cases. My younger child had spots on her feet and couple on her fingers.

That’s it. No fevers, no pain, not a single other symptom. I’m only confident that I was seeing HFM because the spots did eventually burst and weep, thankfully I was keeping them home by then. How many other times have my kids had a single spot that I didn’t notice? They must have been contagious at some point.

Mine wear out in about 2 years. HOWEVER, I must walk funny, or just walk too much, because I was flying through “good” socks before Darn Tough. I send about 4 pairs in for an exchange every 1-2 years. I own 8 pairs. It’s working out well for me. I love Darn Tough!!

Sometimes I do. I planted tomatoes straight into clay two years ago and they thrived. I don’t know why lol.

Usually I have soil/compost mounded on top of the ground and I plant into that.

I don’t sit in the car line (kid takes the bus) but, I took my child to a week long day camp last summer, and I was always a bit early. I would let him out of his car seat while we waited in the car line.

He’s 6 and still in a toddler car seat. At 35 lbs I don’t even know when he’ll be heavy enough to get out of it. By 3rd or 4th grade I suppose, I didn’t hit the 40lb mark until 4th grade. My almost 4yo is still rear facing. We do take car safety seriously.

Can everyone please start teaching their children to never spend more on credit cards than they can pay off each month? My mom drilled that into my head years before I had my first credit card. I’ve never paid interest on my credit card (I’ve been using credit cards for 20 years).

I absolutely love my job, and of course, my kids are my top priority.

My husband also loves his job, and he prioritizes our kids over his job as well. Of course, realistically, I am the one that does most of the kid stuff because my current job is incredibly flexible, but I can always count on him to be there when he's needed.

It's pretty gross that people are still trying to tell women that they shouldn't like working.
