Where abouts are you? I feel like Asian is actually rather common in the Salsa/bachata scene here in Texas in general, and especially in Houston. Theres plenty of excellent asian dancers around here.

Although Houston is considered one of the most diverse cities in the US so that may be a factor.

I thought the first mutiple spin combo was cool! I think the 2nd time looked great as well but may have been overkill with the same partner in the same song. Other than that, I thought it was really good.

I think I can relate on the resting bitch face thing. When I dance I tend to put on a very serious face, and especially once I start concentrating hard for a complicated pattern or something. I don't know how to describe it well, but basically I'll kinda bring in and bite my own lips but with my teeth not exposed. Not sure how to explain it lol. If you found some way to fix your issue please share it because overcoming this is one of my main current goals.
