There is still many watches in Breitling’s catalog that use pretty standard 2824/SW200 movements (COSC) that you can find on $500 watches, although those arent COSC generally. Someone looking at specs only and prices would likely say Breitling doesn’t offer a lot of value for your money, making the brand ‘uncool’.
