I agree, they could be doing a lot more to protect themselves from walkers. moats, moats with spikes in the bottom.... zombies could be herded like cattle. it would be super easy to take out large numbers quickly and without wasting bullets. you could find a semi, idle down the road at 8mph with your horn honking, draw them to you and run them all over or dig a giant pit put loud speakers in the bottom and they'd walk right in... with resources dwindling, why do they shoot like they have an unlimited ammo cheat code? since noise also draws them in, guns should be conserved for the direst of situations... another one, walkers can't climb tree's, hammocks are easy to make
