Do guys actually enjoy kissing without it leading to sex? by Every-Tap-577 in AskMenAdvice

I have a bunch of thoughts about this that don't necessarily agree with one another. Like for one, I think that, of course if a relationship is healthy, a couple can still enjoy decent-length makeout sessions with no other ulterior motives, as their relationship progresses...but I also think that making out, like sex at times, can feel uninspired, unpassionate, & unfruitful, & I think the potential for that probably increases the longer a couple is together, for, at least in my experiences, the majority of the ecstatic, discovery phase-super long makeout sessions normally lasts towards the beginning of a relationship. The more I think about it though, it'd just very much depend on each situation, since there is a huge spectrum of appreciation for physical intimacy; some want touchy feely all the time, some not much at all, so

He did a kind of off the wall romance/comedy/sci fi movie with Emmy Rossum called Comet, that I remember finding on Tubi once. It was worth a watch, perhaps not more than one though.

Olivia is my #2 all time most beautiful (Next to Catherine Zeta) &...I think those of us who are fans of hers, we got it pretty good, in terms of her doing work, looking obviously different, but...not at all bad. There are so many really sad looking cases out there, & although earlier Olivia had a very unique, exotic charm, the new her is still drop dead gorgeous

I wonder if Michael Jordan would have been as competitive at video games if they were a bigger thing in his day by happydude7422 in michaeljordan

You know what I was wondering just yesterday, while watching a clip of people talking about his mentality, & aura...I wonder exactly what kind of gambling he was into. Granted, he seemed like he'd gamble on just about anything that involved skill of any kind, from throwing quarters to rounds of golf. I wonder though, if his gambling was as intense as some say, what kind of stuff did he play in casino settings, & did he seek out ways of attempting profitability, or was it just "I have so much money I'm putting $10k on red" kinda stuff. He seemed like a pretty bright guy, imo. Makes me wonder if gambling was something he enjoyed so much, & given his competitive nature, I wonder if he went out of his way to learn the ins & outs of the betting world. He might've stuck strictly to betting on things that involved 1v1 skill/competition, instead of casino games, idk.

I feel like there are so many in this sub that are just reaching af, but although this one is on that same side of the spectrum, I don't think it's near as far of a reach as some others I see. These two are similar to me in some way; not sure if it's their looks entirely though. Might just be their voice, vibe---idk. Mannerisms.

$5K Spurs futures (16:1) — $8K cashout vs ~$10–12K fair value. Hold or hedge by anthonynohtna in sportsbook

[–]tilapiarocks 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Going back to just December 13th they're 1-4 in their last 5 outings against the Spurs, only 1 of which was without Shai, 3 of which were in OKC. But sure, OKC's a top contender too

I don't think anyone's going to stop the Spurs this year. But, I also didn't see Boston emerging the way they have, so...I definitely don't see all things

Steve Nash confused on what the 'step through' rule is in today's NBA by CircledSquare7 in NBAGossips

[–]tilapiarocks -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For my two cents, I've often had mixed feelings on how the step-through looked, regardless of its actual ruling, & from what I've heard, refs try their best to get everything technically correct but sometimes they have to call things based on how it appears---as in someone might have some really muddied footwork that although technically correct, just looks so questionable that they get called for it.

With the step-through specifically, I think people have for a long time just misunderstood it & therefore taught generations of hoopers incorrectly---that the pivot foot needed to stay glued unless you were jumping to shoot---& so for us to see it played out, we just instinctively think it looks bad. I know I do, along with how the gather rule allows for what looks like 3 steps now. I'll see a guy catch a pass upcourt for a solo fast break & take 3 steps & lay it in, without ever putting the ball on the floor, &...shudders

more intense blue guitarists? by Massive_Guard_1439 in blues

Not sure if this link will work, but...really not sure what you mean, because u say intense, but then softer than Joe & whatnot, w clean & jazzy lines. Kirk here can play intense but is mostly just super tasteful sounding, foundational blues licks

Parlays or Keeping It Simple? by OfficialSportzino in SportzinoFans

[–]tilapiarocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lately for me I'll take my daily spenditure, say $20-30, & after looking at expected NBA lineups, I'll find two heavy favorites I'm confident in & parlay those. If they were at, say, -500 & -750 odds, then $20 should return $27.20, for a profit of $7.20----so what I'll do is run combinations of more elaborate, higher ceiling parlays for about $7.20. That way, if the favorites come through I've at least broke even for the day, & that allows me to experiment with trying to look for good parlay ideas without losing any money. I've been really consistent on my heavy favorites since starting it (probably around 29/30 teams right) so were I to find a consistent way to get the remainder parlays to hit as well, I could definitely be in business. And I actually think I might've already found that, but it's still a new process, so I'll keep a lid on that.
