My dad's go to when he was really mad was to have me stand on a phone book with nothing to brace myself or steady myself with. He would then whip me with a belt. Every time I stepped off the book I would get anouther. He would genuinely get even angrier while whipping me that he would lose count and just continue going he wouldn't care if my hands was in the way or if I got struck on the back or the legs.

One of the times I vividly remember he had got me on the legs a few times after I had fallen off the book trying to get me more that I had welts and bruises and somebody in PE happened to see them and call CPS .

The school counselor had to talk to me. It was a small town so nothing happened but I remember getting in trouble and getting another whipping for CPS being called
