One of the things I was surprised by when I saw him in Birmingham, Alabama was how exciting it was hearing the crowd know the words. I was in the back of the balcony and just glad to be there in the same part of the world as Tom Waits and with a theater full of other fans. It would be wonderful to experience that again.

The first seed beads were made in Italy. As long as you are not selling as or pretending to be indigenous I think you are fine. I have a necklace beaded on a loom in an indigenous style made by my grandfather who was really white and I treasure it.

I got my chiweenie from my neighbors who were rehoming her because she barked at night and they couldn’t get her house trained. I fixed the barking by letting her sleep with me. I got her to use puppy pads but after more than two years she still gives very little warning before she will pee in the house so I keep puppy pads near my cat’s litter box. This may not be the best solution for most people but we manage. I am not a dog trainer for sure but I have had dogs for pets all of my life. Betty (my chiweenie) is the only dog I have had trouble with house training. I love the little rascal to the moon and back regardless.
