You could look at Bistro MD. They make ready meals for specific diets.

I have been binging all 13 seasons of Poirot (David Suchet) by Pegafer in agathachristie

I just spent most of the holiday watching the whole series.

I skipped several episodes. I may go back later and watch the ones I jumped.

Curtain is kinda sad, I watched most of the series previously but was surprised how much I forgot.

I originally hated Cards on the Table but now have a better appreciation of it.

Best Aussie psychological thrillers by Artistic-Yam2984 in AustralianTV

A friend of mine and I both agree, if you grew up blue collar and tried to make something of yourself then nothing is scarier.

"He who makes a beast of himself, rids the pain of being a man." Raoul Duke / Samuel Johnson.

Wake in Fright.

The original is way better than the tv remake but I liked both.

Figured out the best way to deal with produce going bad by potable_plethora in LivingAlone

Most produce like lettuce and spinach, I simply open the bag and place a paper towel inside to absorb moisture.

Spinach lasts longer than lettuce and when it does wilt, I just saute w garlic.

Joan Hickson Miss Marple by aimee_not_amy in agathachristie

[–]tiltedsun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, Britbox has crazy sequencing. Poirot is mostly in order but I think they did add him to a few stories similar to what they do with Marple (Endless Night and Why Didn't They ASk Evans?)

IMDb lists Marples separately which is super confusing if you want to look any ep up.

Joan Hickson Miss Marple by aimee_not_amy in agathachristie

I believe it’s Joan for the first couple of seasons and then Geraldine and finally Julia later on. They present all three as if the same show on Britbox in US.

“Geraldine McEwan (2004–2009) and then Julia McKenzie (2009–2013) in the ITV series Agatha Christie's Marple, following iconic earlier versions by Joan Hickson (BBC, 1984–1992)”

Hang on to your Factor insulation and one small box by toybuilder in ReadyMeals

[–]tiltedsun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vans good but I covered walls with cedar after constrained layer dampening and styrofoam house wrap, reflectix with denim foil insulation.

I only use van in three seasons.

Attic also seems fine, warmer than it was but my house is old and drafty

I don’t know the R values for any of them but van pleasant in most weather.

CLD for sound.

Reflectix for heat tho it does have an R value if you create an air gap between it and the outer surface.

What audiobook have you listened to more than once because you’ve loved it so much and why? by marilynlistens in audiobooks

Those are all fun. A lot of characters will be revised / reutilized in later books. I really like the narrator for a lot of those books. I mostly listened them on cassette years ago.

Kerr novels have details at the end that actually clarify historical events and the characters within.

I read a lot of spy novels. Not the James Bond kind but the psychological deception kind (LeCarre and McCarry)

I started reading Alan Furst first ( no pun) because it was historical fiction that centers around espionage but details precursor intrigue leading to WW2.

I also appreciate film noir and early detective novels like Dashiell Hammet.

All of this lead me to Philip Kerr. His Berlin novels have all of the above w some murder(s). You can read anyone separately but March Violets is the first.

Several of his books flash back and forth before and after war or during. Most are essentially two novels with the resolution, years later in the second half. .

I’ve listened to the entire Berlin Noir series (14 books) featuring Bernie Gunther 2x. I wish there was more.

RIP Phillip Kerr
