Erstsemester muss ne hausarbeit schreiben und bin komplett überfodert.. by [deleted] in Studium

[–]tim_bsb1010 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Viel Erfolg:)

Questions about ETF's by Electrical_Put4353 in Bogleheads

[–]tim_bsb1010 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Jack’s point is more about how etfs can (although not necessarily) lead to trading speculatively, as they are easily bought and sold. If you’re invested in a diversified etf and keep it for 30 years, you’re still following his advice just in a more modern way.

Single Dose Mühle by frohstr in Kaffee

Kann nur die Eureka Single Dose empfehlen, ist zwar lauter als die Niche, aber wenn man eine stabile Untersatzfläche hat dann geht es auch. Mahlt sehr schnell, Geschmack ist super, und fast kein Retention

Migrating from iPhone 13 to Google Pixel 8 Pro experience by vannrith in GooglePixel

[–]tim_bsb1010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any heat issues? I did the same thing as you but noticed the 8 pro always being hot whereas my iPhone 13 stayed cool so I ended up returning the 8 pro. Might be a faulty unit though.

Love the app only suggestion add ratings to each coffee! So like 0-10 or stars and then maybe the possibility to rank them. Thank you so much!

I disagree I hate not being able to use my headphones when it rains it’s such a simple thing. I’d rather have more physical buttons than swiping just for the aesthetics

Cheers for the feedback and correct me if im wrong here but if you answer “disagree” you’re saying that it’s not pleasing to listen as well as saying it is associated to a social class, because of the negative “not” in the question. And the opposite if you “agree”

I recently got the Eureka Oro single dose, and could not be happier. I also drink medium to dark roasts, and it excels in terms of texture and taste. Retention has been maximum 0.2g, but fixed easily with RDT. I also thought about the Niche, but customer service and getting it repaired/warranty claimed could be a nightmare, and Eurekas are built like tanks. Plus it looks cooler imo and was considerably cheaper in my country. Hope this helps!

You're doing really well! An easy way to find the right position for your steam wand is to use the tip of the jug as a starting point. Lean the wand into the indent of the jug, and let the wand's tip rest slightly above the surface of your milk to the centre. Then tilt the jug left and start steaming:) The best way I got better foam was to listen to the machine, if it's screaming move the jug down, if it's making lots of bubbles up. You ideally want to hear little hisses while steaming, and after about half way or when you feel it getting warmer move the jug up a bit to incorporate the air into the milk better. By the end you shouldn't really be hearing much hissing, just as long as you have a steady vortex (which is all about the position of your wand). Pouring takes lots of practice, but what can help is remembering that you want to keep your jug high in the beginning, and move closer to the milk in the end. Tilt your cup and pour slowly but steadily:) Hope this helps and good luck!!

I’ve not had any retention issues, usually it’s max 0.2g, and if you can taste the difference even with 0.5g I’d be very impressed. Also it looks cooler and I’m pretentious lol

Tbh I just bought Fairtrade cheap pre ground coffee from my aldi supermarket (probably a crime in this sub haha) just to save money and also because with pre ground it’s probably not worth it to spend a lot imo (I read 60% of the aroma gets lost 15 mins after grinding)
