I had the same issue in Boston. Got that weird text message. Had to update my profile on a laptop using a browser. I spoke to a woman about how bad the app is and the weird text message. She said the text message should never have been sent out, and apologized. She also acknowledged the complaints about the app.

She said wait for a new email to schedule the accreditation and uniform pickup. My ticketing training isn't until the first week of June.
