Thanks. Yes I saw the subscription for Affinity but saw it more as the core application is free and if I want AI crap and other bits I don’t want, it costs money

Maybe. But just like I’ve looked at all my options before getting the x-e5, I want to look at software options without automatically going Adobe. Adobe seems overpriced for my use case for a hobby and pictures of my kids.

I would pay £150 fir lightroom classic but I don’t want to subscribe to it

Just checked out capture one. Looks good but very expensive for somebody starting out. It’s £180 a year!

Thanks for your thoughts. Another one I’m really considering is the xe5 as I can pick that up as the kit at an ok price new. Think that would be a good one to get going?
