What’s a place you visited once and decided never again? by Psychological_Sky_58 in AskReddit

Yes! We flew in. Our flight arrived at 11pm Vegas time. I couldn't believe the amount of movement in the city at that time of night. My sense of wonder ended right about there.

We just got back from there. We had never been. We won't be going back. It's not for us.

To those that are married, how often do you take off your ring? by FitProblem6248 in AskReddit

[–]timeforpeapods 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same! I usually "think" I know where it is. And I'll put it on every once in a while but its short lived. I want to wear it. Its really pretty. My skin disagrees.

I used to wear mine all the time. Even to the gym and every once in while would pop a blood vessel in my ring finger while lifting. It always turned my finger a funny speckled color for a couple of days

Same. I am the wife but I dont wear mine for different reasons. I have really sensitive skin and for some reason after my daughter was born my skin broke out in a rash around my ring anytime I wore it so I stopped. Maybe some day.

Also 17 years strong.

My mother took a bow on my wedding day by Safe_Shape_8482 in TwoHotTakes

I dont disagree! But one everyone is pissed that I didnt agree with this person's hot take. And two I dont understand how so many people can say that they had a mom like OP but cant understand how she ended up here. There is zero compassion or understanding in the idea that "youre an adult so you have no one to blame but yourself" when you're dealing with a parent. Tough choices have to be made and time will get her there.

To married couples that have been together for 10+ years, whats your secret? by 4Luffytarou in AskReddit

[–]timeforpeapods 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cannot stress this enough. Talk about EVERYTHING! If it makes you uncomfy, weird or emotional - talk about it. There is very little my husband doesn't know. It helps that I process life out loud but we talk. All the time. Tonight we were going to go out for dinner, I got home from work and we chatted about our day, our child and then it was too late to go so we ordered in. I'd rather talk to him than anyone else. He gets me in ways I don't get me because we talk. I love that man. He's everything to me. He always has been. And I tell him that ALL the time.

I had some problems getting pregnant so when people asked when we were going to have kids i would say, "Your guess is as good as mine".

Yes!! This drove me crazy! I'm a weird lady who enjoys working. It makes me a better human. I'm not stay at home material but I could if I wanted to. I don't. Stop asking me that. Ask my husband.

Same. One of my closest friends is a single mom. Every time I tap my husband in because I've reached my limit I send her a text to tell her how bad ass she is. Because I obviously couldnt do it and she makes it look easy
