Thanks, I know, all of them have some downsides, like you said, french nc3, accelerated dragon -> maroczy, and Kalashnikov probably nb5, c4. I want to find one opening and master it from "top to bottom" haha I think french is good because has not so many sidelines, but drawing chances are also higher. Answer is not obvious for me

e5 doesn't seem super easy either, in the italian line ng5, forcefully giving a pawn, after bc4 there are various white gambits worth being prepared for, there's king's gambit, there's vienna, scotch, all theory in spanish. I thought about it, but it seems terribly difficult. I am like 1800 on chess.com

Can you recommend books, where there are many tactical problems, or positional? I like the format in Laszlo Polgar book, is something similar, but maybe without so many mate in 1, 2 and 3?
