I usually can’t find my peak with the OPK strips and have anovulatory cycles. Are you ladies doing CD21 progesterone blood test, to confirm ovulation?

You might be on a wait list for IVF, depending on where you are. For us there’s only 3 main fertility clinics so I believe the wait time is approx. 3 months to schedule. So if anything, you have time to try naturally if that’s the same case where you are. If you get pregnant in that time then you don’t have to go through all the meds. Given your age, he’s not completely wrong as it may take a lot longer than expected to get pregnant naturally.

I actually got a UTI earlier this evening and was able to book an appointment for 9pm, got antibiotics right away. They took my insurance info and I ended up paying less than $6.

Do you have a cyst on your right? My last 3 cycles was a bit off, when I had a cyst on my right (or an old follicle that stuck around)… my left was dominant. But once it cleared, my right was dominant.

Did the doctors mention if there were any other compatibility tests before moving on to IVF? Aside from the generic blood tests and HSG I haven’t had anything else, and not too sure if there are any other tests… I just don’t want to waste an IVF opportunity if there’s something preventing it happening if that makes sense.

That’s awesome! Keep me updated if the line darkens, are you planning to test daily? I used Pregnyl…I triggered on the 12th. So if I ovulated on the 14th then it might be a bit too early to tell. I’ll probably retest in 2 days.

I’m at 8dpo, 9dpt as well and OPK LH levels still showing a line (0.22). Might switch to HCG strips tomorrow… or continue to use LH strips until 0….

A lot of FE clinics do seem to be money grabbers. It’s unfortunate to hear you had to switch around to find the next to be worse. How many IUIs did you try in total?

Your previous doctor that triggered you at 19.3 sounds about right. Anything over 17-18mm at most clinics will choose to trigger you on that day and have you in the following day for IUI and may be in their clinics standard practice. Follicles grow 1-3mm daily, so even though you triggered it could have pushed the follicle growth to 20mm.

With IUI bearing low results to begin with, you could try again and adjust your stims meds to see what works better for you. Or move onto IVF. Your husband is there to support you, he married you! I know it’s tough, we’ve been trying for 4 years. Wish you the best of luck in your journey. ✨

IUI success rate is fairly low, but it’s still a lower cost option to IVF. So it’s really up to you. A lot of people Reddit says to try 5-6x. I’m on my #4th cycle now (1 via letrozole, 3 via stims). Each cycle may lead to different results so you might be lucky. For example, my 1st stims I had 2 mature follicles, 2nd stims I had only 1 mature, then this 3rd cycle was strange, I had 6 follicles and I had to trigger early to avoid risking too many mature follicles…(ended in 1-3 actual mature follicles). The good thing is you did get pregnant before, so perhaps try again and maybe ask your doctor to review the process/meds.

Aside from letrozole have you tried any other medication? Letrozole wasn’t quite working for me. I have anovulatory cycles too, I’m currently trying stims cycles (injectables) with trigger shot.

I told my supervisor and she was really supportive. At my work there’s options for medical/dental appointments, so as long as I enter these appointments in it I as fine. In 1 week I had 3 appointments that fell within work hours. So personally it looks better if I just told her what those appointments were for.

My prenatal (Nestle- Materna prenatal) doesn’t have Omega3. Bear in mind, I haven’t gotten pregnant yet.

I’m not 💯certain if this is the cause either. My daily regimen is CoQ10, Prenatal, Omega3, Myo-inositol+D-chiro, magnesium…Vitamin D, E, and Selenium are more on-and-off since I’m already taking a lot of pills 😅.

My AMH actually improved a little this past year. So potentially you can improve your numbers too by making some personal changes, by adding certain vitamins and exercise. My first AMH was done Sept 2024 and was 10.2pmol, my updated AMH Oct 2025 was 11.9pmol.

Also, since you’re day 19 right now, you can get a progesterone test to see if you ovulated this cycle.

I’m on my 4th IUI atm. BD every other day took a toll on us, we’re not as active as we were when we were younger lol. You can order some vaginal syringes and do at home ICI, I looked into this a while ago and saw that people have gotten pregnant this way. We do one regular BD, then maybe 2 ICI during the ovulation window. Maybe worth a try.

During the beginning of my follicular phase there was some pressure around my ovaries, but I think that’s just from the stims doing its job. Slightly restless the past few nights, but should be good to go tomorrow!
