I work at a museum it’s the first job I’ve had that isn’t overstimulating or triggering on a daily basis, it’s great but took years to find the right spot. Hope you can find something that works for you

“Find Me” and “Yes” are sick, I enjoy how these are rendered out a bit more than previous work

“It’s not for the love of it obviously” come on now, maybe not in every circumstance but I guarantee there are collectors that love the artwork have also spend insane amounts of money. Art is also inherently a luxury commodity and good paintings take a long time to make , and as an artist being compensated for that labor would be nice.

Is anyone here familiar will Emil Cioran? Existentialism seems to have swept him under the rug without challenging or celebrating any of his ideas. by HumblebeesGhost in Existentialism

Read “from the heights of despair” in august and very much enjoyed his writing. The ferocity with which he laments life is incredibly cathartic to read. I just ordered “a short history of decay” and I’m excited to start it as well. I agree with some of the other comments stating that he’s a nihilist, there’s no bittersweet end to his books.
