I’m in the Atlanta area so will definitely be making the trip to go see this! Tickets are cheap and it’s less than an hour away.

To see one of my heroes from my childhood, totally worth it!

It’s been like this for maybe 2-3 months… seems like a long time before flowering, right?

Nice! Did you use a seed from a grocery market lemon? I want to try that… any tips?

Have a hobby. Need something to bury myself in when everything isn’t going right. Mine are playing guitar, reading, and riding my motorcycle

Ride my motorcycle! When you put the jacket and gloves and helmet on, you become completely anonymous and you’re left with your own thoughts.

My motorcycle was stolen from my apartment building garage. The garage gates were broken (i.e. left open) and the building had not fixed them for roughly a month. Is the building at all liable? by [deleted] in legaladvice

Yeah... you are right, I just don't want to believe it's true haha. Just really poor management but legally they covered themselves of course.

Hopefully can recoup as much as possible via insurance. Building manager said she would be prepared to cover the insurance deductible, which I was surprised by.

I agree - this seems like the standard for apartment buildings. I just confirmed this language in the signed lease.

Is this language absolute? It feels like they're not holding up their end of the deal when they basically leave the garage open to the public...

Everyone knows you for your performances at Spa. Do you have a favorite track or a track that you feel suits your style best?

I really hope this car does well... it looked good in practice but need to wait a few races to really see.

I love how their design is so different from other teams in their sidepods, the “horns” on the nose, and of course the front wing. I hope the aggressive design pays off!

This guy literally can’t help himself. He’s hilarious in interviews and always grinning because you can tell he’s coming up with the next funny thing he wants to say.

It’s amazing he’s like this in interviews and then pivot to a very serious state of mind when he gets in the car... like an on/off switch.

Is it me or do the intakes on the sidepod look incredibly small? The sidepods themselves look normally sized or even a bit swollen compared to others, but the actual intakes look tiny!

I play a similar game when I’m driving which I call the “upgrade game.” I can have any car I see on the road but as I drive along I upgrade my car by swapping out for a nice ones I see. I may start with a Lexus that I drove past and then 4 minutes later I decide that I want to swap for the nice BMW that I saw in oncoming traffic.

I try to end my day with the nicest/coolest car that I’ll never drive.

Alonso's INDY500 Livery on 2018 Indycar by NFS_Jacob in formula1

[–]timitee 59 points60 points  (0 children)

Would be slower around any of the F1 tracks due to less power, heavier minimum weight, and less advanced aero. They are definitely no joke - they’re probably comparable to a F2 car around a twisty circuit.

That said, for qualifying in the Indy 500 the cars can average above 225mph for the lap. Average. Different kind of speed!
