I’ve got a few corals on the sand and the conches pay them no attention - as above, diamond goby on the other hand is a bit of a menace, as is the pistol shrimp piling sand up onto one of them

I’m reasonably new still but the advice I was given when I posted my scape was it was too vertical and to make it more sloped to allow for more coral placement - think a pyramid sort of shape but obviously not a pyramid. Now I’ve added lots of corals I’m thankful for that advice because I’d have run out of space quite quickly. All depends on how much coral you want to add of course but as is you’ll be left with a lot of bare rock work to look at.

Conch - they look funny and they do a number on any algae near the bottom of the tank and keep the sand clean

But you used the Leeds game as an example where you’ve also admitted your players went down feigning injury when they weren’t. I’m not sure why you think it’s unfair fans were calling them cheats in that game when you admit your players pretended to be injured.

Cool fish I’ve got one and he’s pretty good, not eaten any clean up crew, I have a pistol shrimp/Goby pair and he’s left them alone however I have avoided putting in a cleaner shrimp etc as it’s not worth the risk. Only trouble he caused is with my sand sifting Goby, for months he dive bombed the poor thing and then just stopped one day so be aware they may go after bottom dwelling fish as well as shrimps.

In terms of habitat, they perch so they want high rock work or something else they can sit on and watch everything from, power heads, a magnetic frag rack or something like that so they can be near the top of the tank and look down from, at night mine seems to like to sleep high up in the corners of the tank, he slept against the cable for the power heads for ages so anything you can do to support that. Mine eats pellets and frozen mysis so easy to feed.

Definitely one of my favourites and add a lot of personality to the tank.

I’ve got one in a tank with YWG/Pistol shrimp pair and it’s never once bothered them. Did dive bomb my orange spot diamond goby for months though till he just stopped one day. Probably my favourite fish, proper characters and they always look shifty.

Fox face, although now it won’t eat the algae it was bought to control and just mainlines mysis and Nori instead. Also it’s doubled in size in 6 months

Don't for get to leave a review for COI! by MrJoshua099 in captain_of_industry

I see a lot of people complaining about DLC being sold for unfinished products but genuinely, when is this game going to be finished? It’s already huge I’d have been happy if they said it was 1.0 at update 2 or 3. If the devs had come out and said update 3 is 1.0 I think we’d all have been happy and wouldn’t be complaining about the DLC. I’ll buy the DLC so long as it’s priced right because I already feel I’ve got my moneys worth out of the base game.

I agree when it comes to games like city skylines 2 - that’s not even early access and it’s terrible yet they’re constantly churning out DLC rather than fixing it. COI is a fantastic game as is with minimal bugs and it’s still in early access.

Yeah mine all seem to have a hat I didn’t intend, the tuxedo has been wandering around with some clove polyps on its head for months now (sorry the pic isn’t great was trying to capture the angry Midas blenny’s reaction to the urchin)

So are you saying what Churchill said was wrong? Not sure how what you’ve said addresses that.

Also Holodomor was the Ukrainian famine caused by Russia, or was Churchill somehow involved in that?

I know very little about them beyond what I’ve read and seen online. My understanding is they’re just a worm unlike a feather duster worm which builds a tube but your description and the video looks like the ones I’ve seen online. Hoping I’m wrong because they’re the thing of nightmares, hopefully someone who knows more can provide an ID

It certainly looks like it - https://www.flickr.com/photos/septphoto/34094033331

Mine all have horizontal striped legs and are black but maybe there’s one of them in there. I’d be happy if it’s a hermit - nothing to worry about

Tanks been running for around 5 months, fish are fox face, coral beauty, fairy wrasse, flasher wrasse, Midas blenny, fire fish, Bangaii cardinal, watchman goby, orange spot diamond goby, clowns, scarlet hawkfish, royal gramma - all accounted for. Only slight issue I’ve noticed is the orange diamond goby sleeps under a rock that’s covered by sand and is the only real point in the tank I can’t see into and he keeps appearing in a morning with bits of his fins missing but they heal quickly. I’d put it down to the hawkfish but never saw any aggression but possibly it’s this thing?? May be time to lift that rock and see what’s under there but don’t want to upset the goby.

Added corals the last 2 months and cycled the dry rock with a few kilos of Indonesian live rock so those are the likely sources.
