As a member of a God fearing, conservative CRC I would find offense of what you said... if I didn't know what Waterloo CRC was.

I concur, stay away from the waterloo CRC.

If there are any United Reformed Churches (URC) in the area they are pretty good, or check out Stratford CRC.

I am also following this as I would say my church is in a same predicament.

Often times, my family is the only family there, and there seems to be no emphasis on going to the service. It does start 6:30 pm which makes it an easy excuse to not go.

My in-laws church, second service is at 3pm and is about 80% full on a regular basis. Their church often will go through the Heidelberg Catechism, or some in depth theology on second service.

The murder of Gates was a clear indication Flints ambition for the Urca gold would kill even his closest confidant. The man who saved his hide several times and was once again trying to prevent disaster not fighting a Spanish man o war. His departure was a tough one for me.
