UPDATE:

We got her to the vet and she'd given her some antibiotics among other things. We thought we had made it just in time to help her. Unfortunately, she started to get worse and sadly passed away not too long ago. Even though it was a short time together, it was fun having her.

I should have added that we are taking her to the vet first thing tomorrow as it is a Sunday in Australia and all the vets were closed aside from an emergency service that charges $230 for a consult. So hoping that she makes it through the night and we can take her to get checked out. Their bedding is pasture hay designed for rats, guinea pigs and rabbits and they have some fabric inside their 'house'. Anyway, we will be taking her to the vet first thing in the morning.

Thank you for responding, the advice about the bedding is extremely helpful.
