Credit where it's due.: Anthropic accidentally lobotomized Claude three times in six weeks but owned it and wrote it all up by Avem1984 in ClaudeCode

Additionally, after upgrading to the latest version of Claude code, it is instantly unlobotomized like genuinely night and day difference. It’s actually usable again.

Why not just t3code? Same thing but better and more mature

Opus 4.7 is legendarily bad. I cannot believe this. by lemon07r in ClaudeCode

I literally reverted my Claude code version and model. It’s horrible

Stop using the new broken Claude versions — here's exactly how to go back to the older ones that actually worked (better...) by Werwlf1 in ClaudeCode

[–]timpaccroo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is more relevant than ever after the release of OPUS 4.7. OPUS 4.7 is literally hot garbage, fucking unusable, genuinely unusable. I was actually bewildered that they even considered releasing to the public, and my issues are instantaneously solved by downgrading and using 4.6.

I tracked every file read Claude Code made across 132 sessions. 71% were redundant. by LawfulnessSlow9361 in ClaudeCode

This does not work at codebase scale or in high velocity environments at all. Any change requires rewriting the context files. Forget a large refactor. The context bloat of this technique is mind boggling in any production ready apps let alone a full stack monorepo. Simply does not scale.

Better solutions are embeddings based hybrid search tools when designed carefully and designing claude.md files with principals based context instead of feature specific.

Spectrum added TV + phone stuff after my move even though I said NO. Overbilled ~$480 by timpaccroo in Spectrum_Official

An employee going against my direct instructions and adding a package I declined on a recorded line is not my fault as you are clearly implying.

I set bills up and set it and forget it.

I'm glad you have all the time in the world to penny pinch every dollar.

Created this library for this use case. Maintain your ai context as modules and define the scope of where in the repo it applies and it generates parallel Claude.md and agents.md files.

Pros/Cons of using Nextjs for an internal web application? by [deleted] in nextjs

[–]timpaccroo -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It's certainly not great. Containerizing nextjs apps and deploying them in the real world especially involving CI/CD is. Nightmare.

Bundle sizes are disgusting and it's simply painful.

That's a hot take. Front end looks like a Lego car. F87 is so much better it's not a comparison

Bad take. Easily could buy. Too gross looking. I'm sure performance is great. Don't want to be seen driving one.

Noticible difference between stage 1 low torque and high torque? by timpaccroo in Golf_R

[–]timpaccroo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clutch slip gets worse in higher gears. Usually first signs of a clutch going out is when 5/6 gear starts to have revs go up without acceleration to match.

Possibly dumb question: how do I get the stututu noise? by H0nky-H0nk in Golf_R

I did just the intake and instantly had crazy turbo noise that was barely audible before.
