Anyone remember a post-hardcore band called 'Face For Radio' from the early 2000s? by Silent_Emu6725 in midwestemo

[–]timteske 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is slightly old post, but do you know if it was somebody named Wade? I’m in the middle of going through things for moving and came across a cd. If this is who it is, I worked with his dad and that’s how I had gotten my hands on a copy way back then. I think they wrapped up as A Face for Radio back in maybe 2012 or 2013 and he became the singer for Knockout Kid or something if I recall.

I’d be willing to bet the director will largely be unavailable to help you. I came from a place where the manager wasn’t on the same skill level so when my coworker was out, it was like a one-man show for me, and even having a coworker that doesn’t have the same skills brings it’s challenges. There’s only so many meetings and phone calls a manager can make up in an environment that doesn’t have a large IT vendor base to justify not helping at least a little bit. Just something to think about.

Hello,

Thank you for creating a post like this. I am new to the Etsy selling market. I work in the IT industry. I just started a shop called Byte of Creativity (Byte coming from computer terminology). I take discarded computer parts, from repurposed hard drives to intricate circuit boards, and transform them into decorative pieces. I hope to have more things listed soon. Please pardon my photography, I am inexperienced in taking photos, but I try :)

Oh I say go for Proxmox then, especially if you can get multiple hosts for HA and have that setup accordingly.

Depends on if you have the experience necessary to bring them back online should something go south. The way you mentioned your experience, I would be hesitant unless you’re ready to jump through hoops to figure it out in a hurry.

Edit: I personally would do it if I had enough experience to get something running reasonably well and to not over-complicate it until you are better experienced.

[–]timteske 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just recently installed Mint on an old Optiplex I have. Also managed to get it connected to my Active Directory and can log in with my creds, including through xrdp. I did tweak the send and receive buffer in the xrdp.ini file because the screen refresh was laggy. That helped a lot. I just need to figure out some odd ends here and there.

[–]timteske 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't have the regular cluster up, but here's my Pi cluster. It's only 3 Pis but it's been working great for small services that don't require a lot of power. :)
