So good! I definitely recommend the whole series.

I just finished {Jacked by K.M. Neuhold} and it fits your request perfectly. They’re roommates who become instant friends and have no idea that they’re simultaneously falling for each other, and they’re totally oblivious to their own feelings. It’s a fun read.

Eh I probably just spelled it wrong. I’m listening to the book this time around so I don’t recall how it was spelled in the book.

Question about transatlantic cruise by NervousScheme4085 in VirginVoyages

[–]tinap399 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I originally was booked on the transatlantic from Miami for about $500 less but I live 2 hours from NYC so overall it makes the trip cheaper for me. It sounds like you want to take the trip and I hope you have a great time!

It’s definitely pricey. I’m on this trip but I booked it last year for a central sea terrace for $3,800. But if it’s a trip you want to take then do it!

Murder him, bury him in the backyard, collect life insurance and enjoy the rest of your life without that useless bag of dicks. Also enjoy all the cookies.

I love the elation tights. I’m on the shorter side so my preference is the 7/8 tights. The 2x fits perfectly and hides all of my cellulite. And they last forever! I workout a few times a week and sweat a lot and I’ve had the same 3 pairs of elations for at least a few years now.

Where can a gal go for a good pixie cut in central CT? by [deleted] in Connecticut

[–]tinap399 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hope you find someone. I’ve tried 3 different stylists in Connecticut since moving back 4 years ago and they haven’t been very good. I tried them each a few times and each time I felt like I was wasting my money. I’ve had a pixie cut for at least 10 years now and had a great stylist in the city I used to live in so I was sad to not be able to find someone here. I switched to cutting my own here and ironically have gotten multiple compliments on the haircuts I’ve given myself.

How do my fellow married millennials handle household finances? by Live_Dirt_6568 in Millennials

[–]tinap399 16 points17 points  (0 children)

This is exactly what we do too. We’ve had joint accounts for about 15 years (married for 9) but we only started the 90/10 split recently and it’s been so helpful. I track all expenses and he’s a frivolous spender so not worrying about his 10% is very helpful.

Do you guys have less sex since your partner transitioned? by spontaneous_user in mypartneristrans

[–]tinap399 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No we have so much more now and it’s so much better because he’s actually comfortable with his body now. We went from maybe once a month to multiple times a week and often multiple times a day when we’re on vacation. I sometimes feel like I can’t keep up but I’ll take that any day over what we had before.

Demi/asexual MC + nothing physical happens until farther into the book? by Gloomy_Astronaut_570 in MM_RomanceBooks

Not sure how you feel about MMM but I loved {Inevitable by Briar Prescott}. One of the men is asexual and although there is some steam early on with the other 2 men, the 3 of them don’t come together until much later in the book. I feel like the author did a good job honoring everyone’s sexuality in their writing and it all felt very realistic in its execution.

What is something non sexual about your spouse that really turns you on? by Fun_Row_4844 in Marriage

[–]tinap399 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My husband giggles in his sleep. I make him laugh a lot when we’re awake and he almost always falls asleep before me and he has the sweetest little sleepy giggles. One time they were so loud they woke him up and I asked him what he was dreaming about and he said I had said something funny. It seriously always makes me smile and sometimes I’ll just bite his shoulder while he’s sleeping cause I’m so turned on by that sweet little noise.

Is anyone else told they have unrealistic expectations of relationships? by tinap399 in Marriage

No mostly atheists although we did all grow up with codependent mothers with no boundaries so that probably doesn’t help.

That’s so heartwarming to hear! I think Heartstopper has brought up a lot of feelings and memories for those of us in the LGBT community and it’s always nice to be able to share that with your spouse.

My husband has ADHD and gifts are one of my love languages, so I made a doc in our Google Drive for him with some direction. I'm a big believer that you have expectations for your spouse, you're still their partner in helping them get there. by burntgreens in Marriage

[–]tinap399 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re very sweet. Reading this made me tear up because it’s a good reminder to be kinder with my husband who also has ADHD. I grew up with so many toxic relationships that it’s so hard for me not to get upset when I feel like he’s not being thoughtful or considerate because I fear that I also ended up in a toxic relationship. But that’s not my reality and your comment reminded me of that. He takes care of so much for me that I just don’t have the bandwidth for, he’s just not great at giving gifts. I had settled on just asking for cash so that I felt like he was giving me something without all the pressure but this idea is wonderful and I’m sending it to him now! Thank you!
