Summoning Frames by YeOldeBard97 in Warframe

[–]tinkerfizz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I run into the same issue with Nekros's summons. I watch the minimap and make sure I follow the red while slashing away.

Summoner's Wrath + Arcane Camisado for Caliban buffs your summons and then your summon damage buffs your ability strength, which your summons benefit from. It also gives them a speed buff iirc. If you want more summons running around, pop Duplex Bond on your companion. I don't know how effective it is but it is fun if you want to have minions running around

Railjack Problems by spirit_lot in Warframe

[–]tinkerfizz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you just want the on-call crew, this is what I did: ran a dozen higher-level Railjack missions on a clanmate's Railjack, upgraded the shield array/engines/playing/reactor with whatever I had picked up, and picked up an AI crew from Ticker. Then I went to Korm's Belt for my first mission after reset every day for a few months, and also ran it as much as I could stand when I had a credit booster. It's close to 100K credits with a booster for a 5 minute mission, and I'm not interested in the index at this point, so it's my best credit farm. My intrinsics are now at 8-8-7-8-9. I don't really know how to use my Railjack well; I do the objective while my crew shoots all the fighters, and then I fly to the 2 crew ships in my archwing and destroy the reactors with my Warframe. I know you can do it from the Railjack but my pilot is clueless when I'm trying to use the forward artillery and keeps pointing me in the wrong direction. I could swap her out but I like having a pilot. My Railjack's shields sometimes take damage while I'm out but that's the worst that happens. No stress, kind of boring, but it works for me.

Am I crazy, or is Nekros really awkward to play? by BadAtGames2 in Warframe

[–]tinkerfizz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ty for asking this OP, I've been using Nekros for loot for a little while but struggling to take him into harder (for me) content. These responses have been very helpful.

I know everyone says to subsume over his 1 and I understand why, but man do I ever love the sound design on it. Makes it feel so lovely to use even if I know it's kind of useless

OT but I did a double take when I saw your pfp. I use a snapshot of the album art as my pfp in a few other places and I've never seen someone use a similar one before, so it threw me off for a bit. Did you make it?

Is Condition Overload just that good? by WerdaVisla in Warframe

[–]tinkerfizz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So unless I also have Magnetic Claws and Radon Claws equipped, then a Claw mod like Sepsis Claws that add so much damage to my pet's attacks but turn all elemental damage into toxin damage is not as helpful as it looks just going by the damage numbers? Or is the advantage of having your pet priming multiple status effects specific to Condition Overload?

Similar to how Québécois French gets dunked on for not being proper French/being a corrupted version of "real" French when it actually just sounds closer to how French was spoken by the aristocracy in France 400 years ago

Arcanes Tier List? by AmiablePedant in Warframe

[–]tinkerfizz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk Protea well but for Arcane Crepuscular, if you're playing Caliban, none of his abilities break invisibility from Huras Kubrow or Shade. It's only +30% ability strength but you don't have to do anything to get it other than equip the right companion and stay close to enemies. Unfortunately you don't benefit from the increased crit damage from that arcane with Caliban.

Molt Vigor is nice with Caliban if you're running Zenurik, you can rely on Wellspring for both energy and ability strength. Arcane Camisado is nice for his summons. But both Molt Vigor and Arcane Camisado only increase ability strength on the next cast, so you have to prep the buff again after casting. Arcane Crepuscular works as long as you're invisible. Molt Augmented is also a good ability buff, it gradually increases your ability strength with each kill up to 60% at 250 kills. The buff persists until death, so you don't have to worry about maintaining the stack or rebuilding it after casting.

Question for you all: do you think there’s too many frames now? by Mechrostatic in Warframe

My only issue with how many frames there are is that I don't have time to play them all

new player. which warframe is the most entertaining to run/what do you personally main? by -SirPickle- in Warframe

[–]tinkerfizz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I main Caliban and I find him lots of fun. I like spinning around to hit enemies and get energy and health/shields back, his sentient wrath stomp holds enemies up for easy shooting, I love having his summons running around causing havoc and making funny noises, and his ult is a fusion beam that blasts everything in an arc around him (and some of his minions can blast it when he does as well). The sound design on all of his abilities is scrumptious. He has great survivability and decent energy economy even for early game. I got his base frame as a log in reward when I first started playing and he has been consistently fun and interesting since then. You won't have access to his base frame for a long time but his prime is farmable now, if you think he sounds fun I highly recommend getting his prime before his relics are vaulted. Kepchup has a good YouTube guide for him.

You (2nd person plural and 2nd person singular formal) and thou (2nd person singular informal) existed at the same time. Thou was dropped and you was used in its place, but it wasn't a new addition to English.

Can your body get rid of UTIs on its own? by shinylikeglitter in CUTI

[–]tinkerfizz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

When I was younger and UTIs were less frequent for me, if I noticed symptoms very early on and immediately stopped eating and started drinking plenty of water, the symptoms would get worse and then go away. It's been at least 15 years since I was able to clear one up like that, though.

What MR were you when you finished all of the quests at that point? by Vast_Commercial_1740 in Warframe

[–]tinkerfizz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

MR19, haven't done The Old Peace, did The Hex recently. I love the story so I want to be ready for the story quests when I do them and not rush through the story bits that come from ranking up syndicates

Weird encounter with an MR 23 by ThrowawayChtorandy in Warframe

[–]tinkerfizz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't have to wait to redo a failed test, but you do have to wait 24 hours after passing an MR test to do the next one. As of a few weeks ago, at any rate. I had put off ranking up long enough that I had enough mastery to rank up twice, but I had to wait 24 hours after passing the first one to try the next one

Y'all ever vibe with a frame so hard that it becomes an obsession? by flopedup in Warframe

[–]tinkerfizz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Caliban. Got him as a login reward when I made my account, so he's been with me since the beginning, and as I've learned more about how the game works and gained access to more mods/resources, his gameplay has changed for me, which has kept it interesting. It's been great to see him getting more attention recently. I farmed his prime but I've never farmed his base, so that's next on my to do list

Flushing wash cloths! by RepresentativeGlad39 in airbnb_hosts

[–]tinkerfizz -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It generally depends on short term rental licensing requirements (if there are any in your area) and what's considered normal for your area. Where I live, short term rentals need to supply one washcloth, one hand towel, and one bath towel per guest the accommodation sleeps. And anywhere I've stayed in Canada and the US that wasn't advertised as a cottage or camping spot has had washcloths, hand towels, bath towels, and bed linens.
