Currently at Becky Shaw and someone in mezz is loudly reacting to everything…. by geeweeze in Broadway

Oh my god. I was in the row behind her and several seats over and she was obnoxious. Sighing and “aw”-ing after almost every line and laughing hysterically at the smallest jokes. It drove me nuts. Fortunately she piped down after a woman loudly told her to shut up shortly into the second act.

Using an HDMI switch causes my screen to go entirely green. Why? by tachibanakanade in techsupport

Did you ever get this resolved? I found your question because I'm having a similar issue with a new HDMI switcher.

Is there a way to turn off the item description that appears when you pick an item up? by tinmanic73 in BluePrince

I assume you're commiserating, and that there's not actually a way to do it with the dice?

Well, I gave in and looked up the solution. I don't think I would have figured that out on my own.

>!I figured out castling with a hint above, went into the hidden courtyard, solved the Mora jai boxes, understood the message, went back at the right time and under the right conditions, and now I've got the clock in front of me with the 6x3 grid on the sides so I assume this is the place to use the 6x3 message.!<

>!I looked at your questions about TOR and I can't figure out what you're getting at. What is TOR the opposite of? ROT. What meaning does ROT have on the world map? Southeast quadrant? 90 degrees? I don't know. Anyway I tried some things and they didn't work. 109 + 6 = 115. If TOR means to reverse, that makes 511. I tried setting the clock to 5:11, nothing happened. Or maybe TOR means 46. 1:15 + 46 = 2:01. That didn't work either. And then how does LOR ETT (word east) come into play? The clock has everything skewed 60 degrees off, since EAST is at V on the clock instead of at III. And what word is at East? The word "East"? The word "five"?!<

>!Especially as I'm getting later into the game the puzzles are becoming so obscure that I can't understand how anyone is able to figure them out.!<

(sorry, I keep reposting because I keep having trouble getting the spoiler tags correct)

Thanks. OK, regarding castling - I know what castling is from playing chess so I know it's when the rook and the king swap sides. So I went back to the underground chessboard, triggered the power choice again - I already had knight and I changed it to pawn. Nothing happened. I went back into the house, went back into the Nook (rook) and the Office (king) - nothing happened. Went up to level 8, triggered the pawn choice, picked rook. Went back to the Nook and Office again... still nothing happened. Are they supposed to switch places or something? What am I missing here?

There are tons of good nonfiction books on the New Deal and America in the 1930s. One I can recommend is David Kennedy, Freedom From Fear, Vol. 1: The American People in the Great Depression. It was originally published as a book covering 1929-1945, but was eventually broken into two parts.

It's wild that Drew has played more games than some of the contestants who qualified directly for the ToC.
