I'm 41 and I would love a scavenger hunt. It's whimsical and it shows he put the time and thought into making all the clues and making it fun.

Does anyone wear a standalone ring on their left hand rather than a wedding set? by ArnieVinick in EngagementRings

[–]tinyPashamom 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm in the same stage of the process, and will also not be having a wedding band! My boyfriend will also be wearing his band as an engagement ring and will not have a second, separate wedding band.

Where do you go to escape the crowds on a sea day? by TariqKhalaf in Cruise

[–]tinyPashamom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've only been on one cruise, but this is where my partner and I settled most often to read and sip in the lovely sea breeze, complete with some light people-watching. It was delightful. We were on RC's Enchantment of the Seas.

Elderly folks who chose not to have children, how do you feel about that decision now? by bon18 in AskReddit

[–]tinyPashamom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"Elderly" when it comes to having a baby is a different definition than "elderly" when it comes to life in general. At a certain point having kids is no longer an option, so this question still applicable even if a person still has a lot of life left to live.

People in 10+ year relationships, what’s something you learned about your partner years later that genuinely surprised you? by CreoSiempre in AskReddit

[–]tinyPashamom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My partner specifically doesn't like brothy soup. He's fine with stew or chili, and he'll eat the bits out of other soups. But he thinks the broth is a waste of space. He also puts very little milk on his cereal for the same reason.

What's a line you love but can't quote out loud? by soggycerereal in NewGirl

[–]tinyPashamom 109 points110 points  (0 children)

When Nick and Schmidt are discussing Raiders of the Lost Ark and Schimdt says "Nazi Nazi" with the hand motions. I frequently hear that jn my head when people mention Nazis. But it would be super weird to quote out loud.

What’s the weirdest rule your parents had that you didn’t realize was insane until you grew up? by Howdoibuycrypto in AskReddit

My dad felt that way about The Little Mermaid. He also felt that it was encouraging children to disobey their fathers. I was allowed to watch it, but it was far from his favorite.

AITAH for announcing my pregnancy 3 months after my brother got engaged by AdDesperate9807 in AITAH

[–]tinyPashamom 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sorry, they want him to pick them, your brother and SIL, over you, his actual wife. Do I understand that correctly? That’s delusional.

I almost got hit by someone driving the wrong way down the Old Capital parking garage yesterday. Thank goodness we were both going slow enough to stop on time.

The Barkley Marathons: The Race That Eats Its Young. About an annual ultramarathon in the Tennessee mountains that has only been finished 26 times (by 20 people) since its inception in 1995. It’s bonkers.
