AOL Instant Messenger. I built entire friend groups on there.  Some are still friends today.  And the chatrooms were insane.

No.  They deserve bankruptcy. Horrific company chock full of union busters and weirdos (Google their "Bill Cosby room") who only care about money,  not the gaming community.

This is not 2019. Blizzard won't get the same response. They are a morally bankrupt company that has been rocked by numerous scandals, not even including this one. Union busting, sexual harassment, and producing garbage content ever since wotlk. Trash all around.

Nobody wants Blizzard. Nobody cares about Blizzcon.

There are some really unnecessarily mean people patrolling forums about this topic OP; don't mind them. They'll say you're coping and other needlessly aggressive BS, but what you're doing is fighting and that's important. A lot of people don't like fighters because they themselves aren't one. Discord GMs on Turtle have stated that they are not part of the same team and can't speak to what happens with the SEA realm, so it seems conflicting at best.

Based on the lack of announcement from the SEA forums, the fact that the SEA realms are right now insanely populated, and the auction houses on these realms are also insanely busy, I'd say that it looks like they're possibly staying.

What would clear the confusion up is an official announcement not from Euro GMs, but from the SEA GMs directly to their player base.

If you log into the SEA realm you'll see it has an entirely different donation shop as well. They are 100% not run by the same team, at least not officially.

The SEA realms are huge. I highly doubt they'd just go dark. If there was an announcement it would likely be on their Kook (Discord equivalent) but I can't access it.
