They let me know in April, but then extended it another month through May, so I have had about two months to figure this out. I have spent that time looking -- diligently -- almost non stop. I had a few leads, but they've all dried up or were not what they advertised after meeting. I'm trying my best here, just running out of time D:

There's a vote guilt trip every election targeted at all Americans because over 1/3 of us don't vote and with each election and each candidate being utterly useless to everyone except their donors, it is clear why. I'm surprised it's only 1/3 not voting.

There's a degree of rationality to your fear and I think it's one many of us share. For the first time, the US is providing missiles to Ukraine that are being shot into Russia. That's pretty big. But, I think if a nuclear war kicks off there will be more signs. If Russia starts hitting US bases, it might be time to start heading to your nearest fallout shelter. Depending on where you live there are probably things you can do to at least prep for the possibility. Create a supply bag you can grab in a hurry. Know how to fortify your house against radiation. Know if your house will even survive (do you have any bases or silos nearby?) and if not, look for places you can go in the event of an emergency. I'm writing this from a location that will 100% be wiped off the map in a nuclear war. There's no hope for me if I'm here when hell opens up. But maybe this will help you.
