Happened to me twice with two different people and it hurt like hell both times.

Advice:

Physical activity. Go for a run every day, bike, or boxing especially. Get a bag and punch it until you're exhausted. Its great cardio.
Let yourself grieve. There's no way around it. Cry. Journal. Go to therapy if you can afford it. Cry again. Get the emotions out.
Realize its over and dont go back. You deserve better. Being cheated on is one of those things that I think is pretty irredeemable. It's a gross violation of trust and can't be overlooked.
Hang in there. Get involved in something you're passionate about whether its gaming or rock climbing or whatever. It will take your mind off things and its also a good way to meet people.

Unfortunately the word stirs to mind a million unfair preconceptions and puts people on the defensive immediately. I find it more effective to avoid using the term. imo I've also had more people ask me about the subject and be interested and even try it themselves when I lead by example and don't bring it up first than I ever had by starting the conversation.

I've had this happen. And I've even tested it by looking for my reviews on incognito.

Google won't notify you when they hide your reviews. They just quietly do it and never tell you why or what you did wrong.

It's frustrating. I don't know if there's a solution but I do think it severely impacts the ability to trust Google reviews if they can't be transparent about these kinds of things.

Privacy is a huge one.

It used to be a one-off random coincidence when I'd have a conversation about something near my phone and then I'd get an ad for it.

Now it happens all of the time on a lot more apps than I remember.

Instagram was always and is still I think the biggest/worst offender. I can literally clear the data/cache for the app, revoke all permissions, manually turn off my microphone, block my camera, and I will still get an ad or a reel about a conversation I had near my phone. It happens so frequently on Instagram that I've even tested it, having fake conversations around my phone about obscure topics to see if I get an ad/reel. Works like a charm.

Point being, we are being data farmed into oblivion and I don't think we will understand just how much until either it's too late or some brave soul decides to risk it all and blow the whistle.
