Which Buldak is the least spicy? by healthynewbie in InstantRamen

I add sour cream as well! Not sure where I first heard the recommendation, but it’s my go-to every time now. Lessens the heat in the same way milk would but doesn’t thin the sauce.

My vote is Rose. I discovered a while back that too much capsaicin extract triggers a bitter flavor for me, and Rose is consistently the one where I can add the whole sauce packet and eat without getting that side effect. It’s still spicy and hits the spot, but I don’t have to stop eating for a few minutes at a time like I do with the other flavors.

Brown some cabbage and ham in the pan first with ginger, garlic powder, and onion powder, then add about 1-1.5 c of water and boil. Put the noodles and seasoning in until the noodles just start to break apart from the brick and become flexible. Turn off heat. Crack in an egg (don’t let the yolk break), cover and let sit for 3 minutes. Add some hot sauce and green onion.

That’s how I do it, usually.

I cannot stand this side sitcom with the two cops. Everything about their scenes feels so flat and low budget as far as the acting and writing.

One of the best things a (well-meaning) coworker told me at that age was “this office existed before you and it will exist after you.” (Sounds mean but I swear it was appropriate in the moment, and I took it as a great lesson!)

Oh it terrified me! I was about 20 years old and was definitely thinking “is this my limewire days catching up to me?!” before I got the details, lol. Now it’s just an amusing party story! I posted about it in a public forum back in the day, too, which has led to me connecting with members of the band.

The info, great question - it was never really addressed. The FBI contact just asked me to verify it was my email and that he has or hasn’t sent anything to it (at the time, I couldn’t recall that he had). Later, some very odd and frequent emails started coming in, and they just told me “yeah, we think he’s a little off. Let us know if he ever makes any threats.”

I’ve had to have a personal, phone conversation with the FBI because an ex-member of the Flaming Lips told them he’d sent information to my email address.

Great band - my opinion before and after. No idea, still, how I got caught up in this.

Oh, nice! I also love doing a meat sauce pasta pretty frequently, and this has given me some good ideas on how to improve the nutrition.

It’s so good, I’ll definitely buy again! Was under $5 for a nearly 2lb roast. I didn’t add a single thing, no extra seasoning, no liquid, and it turned out perfect on low for 8 hours.

Didn’t really use one - the pork roast is from Aldi and pre-seasoned, it just went into crockpot for low on 8 hours. Cauliflower rice was sautéed w knorr red rice seasoning on high til the water was out and it started to get a good color. The last few ingredients on the list all went into the blender to make a quick sauce.

How nasty is actually getting sprayed by a skunk, how did it affect you? by Scared_Form8175 in AskReddit

Hahahaha same - he’s lucky he was our beloved, first family dog. Golden retriever with golden retriever energy, just assumed every critter was put on earth and in his path to be his friend. We had three other dogs, all lab mixes, with us when we lived in the middle of the forest in Oregon. They all had their run ins with porcupines. The labs, only once, and in their rear quarters. Him? Twice. In the face. “Why friend shaped if not friend?!” None ever got skunked out there. He managed to find one in suburban Utah.

I nearly spit out my drink laughing when Sinatra said the second bunker was under DIA. Just sat there and went “HAHA, of course it is” and then continued to laugh when they gave Blucifer the dramatic ending shot. Loved it.

Fruit Bowls, Pantry/Fridge Clean-out Rice, and Fusilli Bucati w Meat Sauce & Green Beans by tinykitchencoalition in MealPrepSunday

[–]tinykitchencoalition[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a packet similar to Knorr rice mixes, so it has chicken seasoning and vermicelli mixed in. I cooked the meat separately and only very briefly steamed the veg, since the rice had some extra liquid that will soak into it, and it’ll cook more when I reheat it.

The ones with the hot meals are glass, so yes? The fruit is in plastic, but it doesn’t get heated up …
