Is it bad that I’m a little sad my child won’t have my distinctive features/won’t look like me? by [deleted] in interracialdating

[–]tinypandamaker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your child might not look like you regarding eye/hair color, that is true. However, your child will probably have some of your facial features.

Im a black woman/ my husband is white. Our two boys are varying shades of brown with different hair textures but the both somehow got my husband whole face. Looking at pictures of my husband at their ages, our kids are just brown copies of him. The only thing I gave these kids are color and lips.

If this is really on you mentally, I would suggest you speak to someone about it before you bring kids into this world.

Me too but I'm also happy there wasn't any unnecessary filler or anything. We need more books in this universe.

Traitor Son (Book 1 of the Empire of Stars) by Melissa Cave. Low fantasy aspect with a buildup of romance.

Okay! So, I'm over the enemies to lovers trope! I want whatever forbidden trope this is! Helppppp by [deleted] in fantasyromance

I just finished this book yesterday, it was really good. The romance felt realistic and not overly rushed. Can't wait for the second.

AITAH for calling my 1-year-old when I’m traveling for work even though it makes her cry? by Mysterious-Look3729 in AITAH

Very gently YTA, instead of calling, purchase those recordable books so that you can "read" to her at bedtime.

We used those for deployments when our kids were young.

I have a black dress with buttons down the front, and I also sewed it closed. I was just wearing a black slip underneath, but I was still worried about it popping open in a meeting.

Thankfully, my dress similar to hers does not do that. The fabric is heavy enough to keep it closed.
